Hello There! I found an interesting bug while working with the anti-gravity concept. I noticed that while in the creative inventory. I couldn't do anything. Like say... Pulling out items from it. I figured out the minimum requirements of getting it working. Also. Inventory management and such still works in survival. I have no idea how this works. And what is going on. Here are some pics on how it's set up.
Images: Setup.
Command block text.
I have it typed in here for the people who want to just copy/paste: /clear @a[0,0,0,r=10000] 19 (I replaced the p with an a so it affects all instead of the one closest to the command block)
Command blocks are by default turned off on servers because otherwise people would build stuff like that
Yes. As i said above. This could be an anti-cheat system in a map. Of course you could use a glitch nin10dorox found and kill them the second they turn into creative. But this is more trololololol. Wnan they think it works. Needs a key or something. Than can't pull anything out of the inventory.
Really? The fact that this prevents items spawned from the creative inventory and not survival stuffs. And it only working with a radius intact? And just at the levels of bugginess? I know what you are thinking. This constantly tries to clear 19(Sponge) from your inventory. But it works with all blocks at the same time in this. I am sure it's a bug.

So what is your version? I am more happy with this bug having fixed. Support it to mojang.

It does the same without a radius, and any item/no item can be listed.
It's a bug. You can still use the number keys to place an item on your hotbar from the creative menu without it disappearing. Having it be a feature would be redundant.
I found that running constant radius pulsers to testfor @a[r=1200000,m=1] (radius sweep to check for users in creative mode at a rate of whatever clock you're using) is quite effective for tossing cheaters into the void or rewarding them with a nice healthy dose of /effect 7 5 5, not to mention the other things we can testfor and the many other anti-grief/anti-cheat/anti-wimp things we can do with them.
and for the record... this is not a bug..
/clear @a[0,0,0,r=10000] 19
(@a or @p depends on circumstances and isn't relevant to whether it works or not)
is the same as
/clear @a[0,0,0,10000] 19
Which is defined under the current syntax like this: the command will clear blockID 19 from the inventory of anyone within 10,000 blocks radius of x=0 y=0 z=0. If you wish for it to be more noticeable or more effective, lengthen the radius to 1200000.
/clear @a[r=1200000] 19
Now lets hear them say they can keep those items still.. lol..
Use a comparator clock pulser like the one you have, for a nice steady fast pulse.
Additionally the gamemode you're in does not matter, the commands will continue to function and you will have to turn them off in order to disable said removal.
BUT.. if you're looking for a way to only remove items from all but the Server OP, use level arguments and have it so the OP is a level not allowed to be reached by regular users, you can control their levels too btw. by setting testfor @a[lm=minLevel,l=maxLevel,r=whatever] so when a set level is reached it triggers a block set to take away /xp -XL @a or @p to deduct X amount of levels when they near a set cap.
Thus allowing you to set your testfors to clear items or even to use the /clear commands to use the level arguments and differentiate between the op and the player.
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.
It's still a bug. You see, it clear sponge to any player (Ignore gamemode) in r=10000, but only creative has been effected with clearing everything by this command.

The video above and the command used, works in all modes, clearly you're confused.
The original suggestion stated above, is saying that the command removes "all" items from the user's inventory, rather than just the sponge when in creative using that command and that is not accurate as shown in my video.

Additionally, you must be op to edit or set the command......
Additionally, if you want to screw up people while OP. Just make a giant platform in the sky with worldedit without typing //fast. That causes insane lighting updates and lags the server to the extreme...

First one I didn't notice! Damn, I am Dissociative identity disorder?
nah. Just opinion change. Like before i thought MCEdit is vanilla... It's strawberry.
That explains a lot, I'm on Vista and odd as it sounds, never once thought of 7.
Thank you very much!
Lol it was a bug .. i'll go back in the corner lol ..

Hmm.I thought it was chocolate.
nope. Chocolate is mods that edit the .class files. MCEdit messes with the NBT data.
C'mon. That is a joke!
