Upon placing or removing a bottle/potion from a brewing stand, it causes a block update. Attach that to a bud switch, with a drop underfoot, AND BOOM. Nobody expects the harmless lil brewing stand with free health potions to be their fate.

How would the bottle make the BUD switch thing work?
BUD's are block update detectors.. they're basically glitched circuits which update whenever a block is placed next to it (which forces the circuit to update and realize it should be in a different state) which then sends a pulse which you could do whatever with like set off a trap. Things that count as block updates are things like water levels raising or lower or placing/removing a block or using an oven. Basically anything that causes a block to change (besides chests since that is purely a client side animation).
that's pretty cool actually, nice idea :biggrin.gif:
Just built one into my potion brewery. I had it open to a pit with water at the bottom and filled with bedrock. My potions were being stolen all the time, and i come back to find my brother stuck in the pit.
