This probably has no usefulness, and if it does, I guess it's probably been discovered before, but I made a repeater circuit that doesn't require any input to be powered.
And yes, I'm aware it can be done with just one side. However, I didn't feel like uploading a second picture. That's just the first circuit I discovered it with, so I captured it. It might not be any use, but I thought it was cool. Since, you know, there's no power going to the circuit.
It seems basically to be like a large redstone torch..
Yeah, output works fine. Already tried it.
EDIT: Though, you can't hook anything going to the circuit. If you put any input to it and activate the input, it'll reset the circuit and won't be powered anymore.
I don't much see the usefulness in it, because it's basically a large redstone torch in that it's just powered automatically. However, it could maybe be useful somehow. i just thought it was cool and wanted to show it.

Well since this game is measured in Meters. Feet don't exist.
You could have an input that would reset it and then hook up an output to a block with a redstone torch. Then you hook up the input to a pressure plate in a vault or something and then you would no someone had broken in when the redstone torch was powered.
I don't really see the point in this, even as an alarm system. It's non-resettable memory, say if you had a door open as the input to this, and the input also went into the circuit, sure you'd know someone went into your house. At the same time, you could just use an RS Nor Latch instead of this circuit, and your "alarm" would be resettable just by pressing the button on the other side of the RS Nor Latch

Yeah, Like I said, I didn't really see any usefulness in it. I just thought it was cool.

basicaly a large lever/redstone torch, unless if you want a 1 use thing, which i seem to never need
