The way it works (and I know, I got a ticket) is that once the counter is at zero, click the "buy ticket" button. If it redirects you, it will tell you you have a 15 minute claim. Once it tells you that, you're in the clear and you don't have to rush to fill in your credit card info. You've got 15 minutes to buy up to 6 tickets which you will certainly get.
From what the ticket page says, it looks like I am purchasing a ticket for the show hours of November 2 & 3 from 10 AM to 6 PM. But, there are people on here saying that if you wish to go to both days, you must buy 2 tickets, which really doesn't make sense to me.
Anybody with knowledge care to explain?
If you purchase a ticket you have access to both days.
Once you hit buy it takes you to another page, couldnt you just refresh that page?
Not sure what you mean When the batch is released it will take you to that same page but with the option to select quantity. The only reason it says sold out or out of stock is due to the first batch being done with. If I didn't answer your question let me know what you meant

I'm so desperate for some tickets; I have a son who would be really sad if we cannot go to this event, because we live only 2.5 hours away. I tried yesterday to purchase some tickets, but keep getting the "busy" message (I forgot the exact term). Does anyone have a hint as to how I can get a better chance of buying these tickets. I spent 1/2 hours just trying over and over, until it was sold out. Please help if you help any tips. Thanks!

When I purchased my tickets I refreshed the page at exactly at 0 seconds and pretty much speed bought them like crazy Probably filled out all the info in a few seconds. My tip to you is camp them right when the batch is released and type the information in as fast as you can, avoid mistakes because this will set you back

I did just that. Both my son and I were ready when the count down got to 0. Still didn't get any.

Aw T.T You two will get it next batch no worries. My best bet is to do the same exact thing. The way I see it, batch 2 may sell out quick due to the hype of the first, then by the third batch it should sell out a lot slower. Don't give up!
The way they do this is just ridiculous, the price is too high for a Con to begin with isn't it? E3, Pax, Comicon, they don't cost this much do they? There are how many millions of people that own Minecraft, and all they are going to allow to attend is 7500 people?
It's just the dumbest thing I've ever seen them do. I'll bet they could rent a big place, charge $25-30 a head and get 20-30,000 people show up in the 2 days. Instead, they charge way too much and it ends up being mostly youtube celebs able to attend, with a tiny portion of their fanbase (of millions of subscribers) able to actually meet their idols.

Looks like I'm the only one with luck, because I could score my two tickets the instant it went on sale! Actually, after I finished the transaction, there were still ~2,300 tickets left. Then they began to sell like hot cakes.

97% of eggs will turn out stupid. Good thing mine is the other 26%
You hit the buy button on minecon.mojang.com or http://minecon.eventbrite.com/?ref=elink ? Also where will the buy button be?
If you purchase a ticket you have access to both days.
Head over to minecon.mojang.com and click the red circle when the batches are available, this is where you buy the tickets.
Once you hit buy it takes you to another page, couldnt you just refresh that page?

When you hit the Buy Minecon Tickets, it takes you to http://minecon.eventbrite.com/?ref=elink . Can't you just refresh http://minecon.eventbrite.com/?ref=elink right when they go on sale? I know it sounds stupid, but you don't know how fast batch 2 will sell out...
Oh yeah most likely! The first batch didn't have those icons up yet but no doubt you should be able to. Just have both pages opened just in case.
Yeah, I am getting my brother, mom and my dad trying to secure 2 tickets lol

It's right next to me and I might not go because the first batch of tickets sold out in 3 seconds.
