Later this week, on Thursday, August 16th, the 1.3.2 update will be going live! It mainly contains bugfixes (fixed the falling-out-of-Nether bug, fixed the random-suffocation-damage bug, various uncommon crash bugs). However, if you would like to get the pre-release to update your server, mod or even just to get an early look at it, the download links are below. This is the same version that will be released on Thursday via the normal Minecraft launcher!

MineTV Episode 3, now with 100% More Pahimar
We've been hard at work getting the MineTV set ready for 1.3 - this week's guest is "Equivalent Exchange" mod maintainer (and EE3 author) Pahimar! We are making some changes with how the show runs, including a longer running time (so our guest isn't so rushed), more live events, audience-interactive games, and more!

MCX360, Pocket Edition Continue to Set Records
MCX360 is insanely popular, that much people know by now. It continues to hold a dominant position on the charts for Live Arcade, and the number of XBLA Minecrafters grows by the day. Have you ever wondered how much they are growing? The number is staggering - MCX360 sells, on average, 17,000 copies a day! That's right, nearly seventeen thousand new Minecrafters come to Live Arcade, every single day.
If that wasn't enough, Pocket Edition has maintained a rather impressive lead of its own, as the #1 top selling app, according to Google Play. All said, Minecraft has - between the PC, console and handheld markets - sold well over 12 million copies, and continues to grow daily! With the recent release of 1.3.1 (and the future release of 1.4), the PC-based Minecraft playerbase is set to grow ever-larger, with tons of customization options, mods that are easier to make and maintain, adventure map-specific features, and so much more.
A question that seems to come up often is, "where can Minecraft really go from here?" Well, every single update, we see it go in new, exciting directions. Keep an eye out - you never know where Minecraft will go next!
I am really glad that 1.3.2 is coming out. Don't get me wrong, 1.3.1 is excellent, but it's very buggy sometimes. I am glad that those bugs will be ironed out.

I'm still using Windows 7.
I said this. Two days later, my computer's motherboard melted down and I had to get a new one with Windows 8.
Soooooo, going through a whole new update. Now we'll all wait and see if mods are compatible again. I wonder if some progress will just be all lost again.
Whew! Hope this fixes the random crashing errors I hate being only on for 5 minutes at a time...
1) Does it say "internal server error" or something along those lines?
2) Do you have toomanyitems installed?
I experienced crashing after 2 minutes also and it turns out it was a bug with toomanyitems not 1.3.1. If you do have toomanyitems get the latest version just in case thats the source of the problem, as it was fixed a little while ago.
In 1.3.2, you should fix the bug where hostile mobs will sometimes loose track of you. Like you'll knock them back, but then they'll completely loose attention of you, and will stop attacking, as if you aren't there. The only way to get them to attack you again is to hit them. It's not a big problem, but it does take some challenge out of the game.
When is the MineTV recording? I'd love to try and join, but if it's at 1AM my time....

Christianity in a nutshell: We have all sinned, so we deserve eternity in hell. But God (God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit) loved us so much he sent His Son to die for us, to take the punishment meant for us. All we need to do is accept it, and we have heaven headed our way.

I have removed toomanyitems, fresh install, completely removed minecraft.forced update, you name it, I have tried it. Still get this error. NO mods, NO texture packs at all....
Some people don't seem to understand how version numbers work. The reason the update is 1.3.2 rather than 1.4 is because it is a smaller update. Don't expect anything big yet, it hasn't been that long since 1.3.
Anyways, glad they were able to fix the bugs relatively fast. Lost a lot of good stuff from the nether bug.
