that's... actually kinda cute o_o
though, the concept of steampunk is the idea of the future in the past.
hence Steam + Punk (punk is a reference to "the coming future)
so, while the idea is great, it kinda needs the punk-ish tone to it.
downloading this anyways cause i like it still

More punk-ish tone :tongue.gif: I will see what I can come up with under 24 hours
cool, seing how this turns out will be pretty cool
possibly, a few kinds of companions that are little mini robots or something but kept "alive" in the same manner. who knows

Good idea, but I m probably running out of time :sad.gif: I will try my best though
What I would like to see (and please go ahead and run with this idea if you like/want to make it) is someone turning redstone into pipes that would leak steam when activated. I feel like that would really capture the essence of steampunk.

Doesn't even seem most of the people who are interested in entering know what steampunk looks like. I really don't have high hopes for this contest. It's already halfway through and none are really steampunk. The theme should've been something Deus Ex inspired, or maybe Bioshock inspired. If the majority of the entrants don't even know how to fit the theme, how is anyone supposed to win fairly?

Question - Is it acceptable to submit the progress we've made so far on an entry, and then alter it later after making changes? Or would that be frowned upon? Have quite a bit of a mod finished at this point but working out the final (and probably the most important) piece still. Wish I had time to add more but I think once I finish up on this current part I'm working on I'll be calling it done.

Well, considering that I'm doing that, I think it is allowed. I add stuff to my entry all the time. I think now I edited my entry twice

I sense low-end computers getting a lot of lag from this. Therefore I won't be able to try it out. Looks good though.
It should be fine since you usually only use one companion steam, my computer sucks and it runs fine.
Good idea, but I m probably running out of time :sad.gif: I will try my best though
it lets you upgrade with steam.

That is a pretty nice mod man. How did you get the lamp and wolf working though? Not asking for the code...
Thanks!
I would like to say that any jolicraft texture pack is deserving of an award. I do however agree that it might have been unfair.

This one is epic!
