Curse Client managing Minecraft texture packs? That is awesome! I can't wait until the Mod API comes out and Curse finds a way to throw addons into the client too.
We'll definitely by adding it as soon as it is officialWe're also looking into supporting higher resolution texture packs but wanted to start off with just the basics for now.
This has potential.
Whenever I try to start Minecraft from the Curse client I get this error. I'm guessing my .exe is in the wrong area but I don't know where it needs to be.

Because your EXE can be anywhere on your computer we opted to not support launching of the game from the Curse Client, at least for now.
Isn't there a chance that it becomes overcrowded as many players might have a desire to use such a convenient client? Well ofcourse it is a test version and all, but is there any information on how exactly it performs?
Curse Client has been used extensively for years. I use it to keep my WoW addons automatically up-to-date. There's only two addons I have to worry about and that's because one refuses to keep their Curse upload up-to-date and the other refuses to use Curse at all. Basically, as long as the author of a texture pack uploads their changes to Curse, you will get it as long as you check the Curse Client, and it will install easier. If you have Curse Premium, you never have to check. Everything updates and installs automatically.
We're actively working on this and should have it added later this Summer

As we've stated a few times, we wanted to start off with just the basics and work our way up to high rez textures.
Sir, I do believe that Blizzard has beaten you to that trademark.
