I've been waiting so long for Minecraft to get on the Xbox! My computer is horribly laggy, so the 360 is my opportunity to play the game to its full potential.
Minecraft on the Xbox is going to be freaking sick! I mean, it's already a very collaborative game so when it comes to the Pc and Xbox they are equal, but also if your computer cant handle Minecraft that well, the Xbox can be a very good way to play it lag-less.
I'm sure most people here would agree that Minecraft on PC in the way to go. I just hope Minecraft on 360 has something that makes it worth playing... like many different game modes.
The XBOX version will never be as good as PC because of lack of MODS, Adventure Maps, and challenge maps. The only thing you would be able to do would be vanilla and hopefully some sort of servers. If Notch could implement the ability to download mods made for the PC, Share maps with people (for adventure maps)(maybe through flashdrive?) and maybe even switch maps back and forth between PC and XBOX using a flashdrive, Ill be satisfyed and get it, if not then I wont. although I do think that doing this would be impossible since PC and XBOX run entirely differntly as far as I know and dont share file types.

Now that I think about it, even servers with no mods would be terrible, even vanilla servers use some sort of mod to teleport to different location's of an enormously large map so you dont have to ride a minecart everywhere and wait 5 minutes a ride.
I would hate to buy it again plus I only own a PC. I would hate having two separate minecraft worlds just cause there on different platforms, its already bad enough having to transfer the files from PC to Laptop and back again constantly.
im going to buy it so hard!
I HAVE A KINECT< **** YEAH! (now a surrounding soundsytem to detect creepers and some dirt too fill the holes from them in the room ;P
Reasons why Minecraft 360 is a good idea and shouldn't be hated on so hard:
-Mojang, like any other company, needs money so screw you if you're like, "Mojang is in it for the money! Screw them."
-It's a nice opportunity to try something new (sorta like how you have Pokemon Red/Blue, Silver/Gold, Ruby/Sapphire, etc.)
-It would be even more community driven since Xbox has friend's lists, etc.
-People can now play on far render distance if they always were plagued with the lack of a video card (like me)
So if you right now are thinking, "I hate Mojang now because they want to make money off a game that I already have," consider these things and don't be a hater.

Both the major consoles? You seem to be forgetting one.
Did you not read the poll question? It asks if you would buy it for 360 hinting you need to buy it again just for another platform.
Please make sure to quote my post so that I know you replied to me!
