I love your circle walls =) I was going to do circular too, but decided just round towers instead - and originally I had planned 100 x 100 for my outer walls, but have just decided that's really not big enough, so am trying 100 x 150 to see if I can get stuff to fit better =)
I think all your pictures worked BTW - I'm not seeing anything to indicate any haven't loaded =)
Wel i took this challenge, incredibly addicting! Just finished my wooden age, managed to find 2 iron buckets in dungeons. Ive decided to go for a minecraft circle 101 diamater, not a popular choice but i hope i can pull it off.
Humble Starts
The Requirments, the logs arnt all the same type but the rules said a stack of logs never said it had to be one type
Spent most the 2 weeks clearing land filling in the giant holes in my circle and creating my wall, the keep is lacking now i layed an outline for a stone one and this one met the requirements for now, a simple humble home. Realized i took the pics inside my house after i had started the stone age sorry
Hope you enjoyed it, Any suggestions are welcomed also not sure why some of my pics arn't working any ideas?
You sir, are a cheater. More than half of those pictures were taken in creative mode.

"Map making isn't about painting a canvas, it's more like creating a giant block and carving a statue out of it."
well to start... I KNEW I SHOULDVE TAKEN THE VIDEO!!!! sadly 2 weeks of data on a cracker version of fraps would be way to big to store on my com. >.< i used creative mode, now that you can set the world to lan and enable cheats to fly up, to take a flight for better pics, because you honestly couldnt get the full effect without it but if ud like i can take the rest without it from here on out. guess i didnt think it was that big of a deal if you honestly think i cheated on it ill just keep the rest of the challenge to myself personal acomplishment will be plenty. =/

I have a copy of my game in creative mode too - to plan in, and to take pics in, but I do all the "real" work in my survival game. Doesn't make me a cheater, just makes things easier to plan stuff out in creative - and you get *much* better pics from creative when you can fly up and see things all at once.
I don't think it's a big deal at all Apostle - if you are enjoying the challenge just keep doing it, and ignore it =)

Yeah guess ill just take the "u are cheating with creative mode" as a complement that i did something right
the stables (dont have any sadles, but they're there for when I do)
the moat
expansion on the tree farm
overview of completed kingdom
well it took me several atempts (only one other made it to the forums) but I was held back due to lack of organisation and acidentaly deleting worlds :/ but now 've done it! it may not be the best castle on this topic but I'm sure as hell proud of it!
Stone Age finally complete. I've never been so excited for a simple bucket, that should help my courtyard look nicer and I can make my farm more efficient. Getting all the cobblestone did seem to take forever and looking at the requirements for the iron age kinda makes my head hurt, I probably won't have that done for a long while but still loving the challenge.
Requirements first
in progress courtyard, you can also see animal pens keep and guard tower in the back
animal pens
keep and guard tower
farm, also will be improved now that I can have a bucket
guard tower
mineshaft
from the top of the guard tower, this view makes me realize I may need to expand the walls, again.
Yaaaay, I'm back. I stopped visiting the forum for quite a while... Anyone on here know how many people have finished this challenge? I want to say I remember at least one other person finishing... I really should go through and read all the old pages, but that will take more time than I have! XD

...actually, created is a bit much.... Thought of. That's more accurate.
Alright, completed the Wooden Age, but have a long way to go. I already have the final design and layout for most of the buildings drawn in paint and it is large and epic, but the fun part is getting there. I really, really disliked doing the terraforming with wooden tools.
PICS
Covering the Spawn right away
The Keep
The First Floor
The Second Floor
The Treasure and Required Materials (I decided to get one of each sapling0
The Farms (I know I only needed one but the chickens were annoying me)
The Wheat Farm (the floating blocks are there to mark out the center which will eventually be a fountain)
The Somewhat Fancier Spawn
The Whole Thing
And for the doubters, how I took that previous picture
The Current Plans for the final Castle
Four gates, K for Keep, C for Chapel with the spawn point being the blue dot, and W for the wizards tower which will be connected to the keep by a bridge in the air (the red bit). G for the Gardens and the rest is undecided as of yet. Though I must say I love using paint to plan things out for Minecraft.
And question. Since I can obviously use stone tools in the Stone Age that means I can 1) acquire iron and smelt it, but can't have iron tools and 2) have a bucket?!?!

You, PyroOfZen, and recently kualajimbo have finished. I'm on my Golden Age but haven't had much time between my capstone project and computer problems. I'm also redesigning my agricultural octant. I also plan to redesign my castle and palace in preparation of the Nether Quartz blocks and due to designing practices.

Thanks for the update! Any idea what page your most recent update is on? I'm itching to see what you've done after, what, a year? XD

Very nice. I think you may have the best challenge build I've ever seen. Ever. Regardless of challenge.
Thanks. A lot of the design was tested out in my architecture test world, accurately named Test. Also, a lot of dirt scaffolds were harmed to create the build.
I'm currently revising the farms and some housing so that they look a bit nicer. Then I need to plan the University and Cathedral for the rest of the free space. The castle will be expanded, modified, and will eventuallyovertake the tertiary (modified beginning) wall. That last part probably won't happen until the end of the Diamond Age though.
The finally product will have all colors of sheep available for farming, a merchants octant, hospital, entrance courtyards, an inn, stables, and military training yards. Oh, and the castle will have its dungeons at bedrock level. ALSO, the University will have a library with a pool in it.
It might take me over a year to finish this. Hopefully it's finished before I graduate in May.
