First, read everything you can on the minecraft wiki. got it? good. now, spend your first day building a house and sit out your first night. in the morning watch out for creepers. get food, make a bed, and get some basic resources like coal and iron. make a full suit of iron armor before looking for diamonds as it can take a while to get down that far, increasing you chances at dying. once you have diamonds, get some obsidian. make a portal to the nether. locate a fortress. get some blaze rods. kill some endermen with a good diamond sword. make about 20 eyes of ender. try to get at least a diamond chest plate. get an infinity bow with at least power 3. get all your armor level 30 enchantments. locate a stronghold. activate the portal. go in. kill the enderdragon. boom you just beat the game.

I wouldn't say he quite beat the game. More like killed the main boss out of the two in the game. If that was my only goal in minecraft I would have stopped playing years ago.
For tips
- don't use wooden doors on the outside of your home. Use a fence gate or iron doors (or a solid block you gotta keep breaking and replacing), but not dirt, sand, or any block an endermen can pick up. I've had an endermen move the dirt block which blocked my wood door, a zombie broke the door and him and a creeper rushed in ans killed me and a nice section of my first-night home.
- light up everything
- beds make it light. Light is your friend. Except its actually safer to go caving at night since there will be more mobs spawned on the surface.
- sprinting while hitting a creeper (or any mob) knocks it back. Very effective on the sore loser creepers.
- don't fight an endermen without armor, don't look at an endermen if your not prepared for a fight or have a pumpkin on your head. Water will hurt them without aggroing you. You can not hit an endermen with an arrow. This is not a challenge. If you manage to shoot one and it has literally no way to teleport away the arrow will literally bounce off the endermen and it can even bounce back and hit you.
- zombies are gang members and if you attack one his entire crew will be seeking revenge. They even have children in this gang and they are vicious. If you kill one get to a safe spot quickly unless you're prepared for a lengthy fight.
- while caving, do not forget to check behind you every so often and look UP. There's holes which you won't see and creepers love to leap from the roof for a hug
- keep a bucket of water on you while caving. Lava is sneaky and mobs are the mean kids at the public pool who like to push you in the pool.
- light up everything.. in caves! And make a path to find your way home. I like to put torches on the right side of walls to indicate going away from my base so when they are on the left I know I'm heading back home, and torches on the floor are additional lighting.
- record your coordinates for anything and everything important. It's easy to get lost.
- as soon as you can get a suit of armor and don't take it off until you get better armor.
- enchanting makes everything 100x better
- potions.. read enchanting
- learn how to make exp farms and mob traps
- stay organized
- a bit of Redstone knowledge can go a long way
- skeletons are mean. Bows and range are the most effective against them. Don't try to kill one with a sword if it's in a large body of water. He shoots you faster than you can swim and knocks you back, and if you reach him your attack will push him further away.
- the nether, especially nether fortresses have a lot of very necessary materials.
Need a good universal mob farm? Check out the Double Shift Towers. Designed for 1.9 and gets 22,000 Items / Hour with a very simple redstone set up - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jL8aoJpjjgU
Build your first home/cave near a big body of water if possible. Thus, when you need to adventure out (either at day or night) make a bee line for the water. Not only will you negate Endermen by being in the water, but you lessen the chances of getting hit by a creeper in the water as well. Plus all mobs pretty much are slow as dirt in the water, making it easier to get your bearings before moving further.

Just a side note, if you are near water and a creeper is coming for you, lure him into the water. Their destructive force is lessened in water.
Try to experiment with different things and see what cool creations you come up with. Just try to budget your resources in a smart way, instead of using all of your blocks to make a large house.

Always bring wood (I prefer logs since they take less inventory space in the long run) and a bucket of water with you while caving. Also, remember that one piece of coal smelts 8 blocks, so you don't end up wasting coal once you've gotten settled.

I find the best thing to do is hunt a bit for some chickens, cows or Pigs. Grab some food, Then get some wood, build a small basic house with some spare to make some Charcoal. Then when it turns night, build a mine in the little house you made, you can then start getting coal and some iron, and work from there.
Oh how simple you make it..

Never dig straight down.
lol/Rant/Whatever of the…!: Beyond: Two Souls is a sad/depressing game. Not like the ending of Mother 3 isn’t more sad.
