Ok sure the new redstone things are cool but why the with the complicated control changes. They didnt have to do a ty inventory tweak. They said the inventory tweaks would be easier but now its difficulty as . This was the most update.

And the cycle continue...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues...and the cycle continues.
Seriously, when is this endless community cycle going to stop? Oh, we need an update! Mojang doesn't update fast enough! Minecraft must be dead! Oh, Mojang released an update, but there's also some bugs! Mojang is suppose to create the most perfect code because obviously I can do it better! Mojang is stupid, all their updates are stupid.
And then we just go on this circle, or square, since we are in Minecraft.
Quit your complaining, bugs are going to appear, they'll fix them, give them time, the last thing you want is a bug fix update that adds more bugs than it fixes.
Eh, that kind of thing happens with everything minecraft. "ADD MODZ THEY BETTAR THEN YOAR STOOF!", then "STOP RIPPIN AOF ALL DA MOOOODZ!!!!!!!". Can't they decide one way or the other?

I know, but I am still surprised at the idiocy that happens with these updates. The cycle needs to stop, because with this much complaining (and I know these types of people are the minority, but idiots speak louder than positives) will ultimately become Minecraft's downfall, by it's own community.

This is any consistently-updated game in a nutshell.
You can find this on an forum about practically any game.

It would seem that people would be satisfied that Mojang adds many new things that improve the current game mechanics and even develop new mechanics, but no, this is the internet, everyone is always annoyed and rage at change.
As stated before, if you don't like what the new version adds, don't update/downgrade instead of creating the 3,000,000th "I hate (insert new update here). It sucks alot" thread.

Don't worry, it will never stop. I started playing this game before indev, and it has been this way the entire time. You might as well give up now, because it never ends.

Let's take an insightful look at your post, shall we?
First of all, 1.5 has been out for , like, a day. All updates (i.e. 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, etc) had problems at first. Just because you aren't good at redstone and don't understand the new stuff doesn't mean it's bad. Idk what inventory tweak you're talking about is, but I have noticed nothing wrong with the inventory. This was the most update? I can't wait to find out what word you put there! Was it "crap"?
This cycle never ends:
1. Ooh sweet a new Minecraft update!
2. OMG THIS UPDATE SUCKS ITS LAGGY AND GLITCHY AND MY SERVER IS BROKEN
3. we need a new minecraft update!
repeat.
the only thing bad about the new 1.5 is the texture pack process along with modding and the dots for the new texture allowance thats it fix that and there would be no complaints
Retrieve the jar from the Mojang website, and then replace the .jar in your .minecraft folder. Really, if you do know how to install a mod, you should be familiar with how it's done.
Oh no, they added a new inventory idea that makes some things easier!
It sounds like that xkcd comic, where anything that helps some people will hurt others. I've included it as an example of how workflow can always be broken:

Or it would've been nice if they kept it in the menu and in the options. :>
I'm fine with tex packs being moved, I'm just annoyed by that empty floaty space.
That's exactly why!
That is what has been nagging me too.
