None of the two, the nether is a toxic, infernal, and fleshy hellhole, while the end is a dark horrible place filled with ancient offerings.
...Does the nether still have far lands?

Well the thing is, you have to choose. So balancing out the pros and cons could help. IDK about the farlands though.
Some facts: There are a lot of mushrooms in the Nether. Sometimes, you spawn in the ground in The End. No one mentioned Soul Sand, or the obsidian towers in The End.
The nether. Because the other night I had a bad dream abot enderman. This is what happened in the dream. I was walking towards the bathroom when suddenly in the darkness i see a pair of purple eyes and hear enderman sounds. Well the enderman kills me by pushing me out the window then teleporting to me and then hurting em until I die :(. but seriously that was one scary dream. So ya I would live in the nether.Safe? the end is not safe. In the end u could get killed by enderman, fall to your doom or get pwnd by the enderdragon. Plus there is no place to hide in the end. While in the nether there is a few places to hide such as fortresses and nether caves.
The End because it's relatively safer than the Nether, and I would just try to like be all heroic and jump on the dragon's neck when it swooped down at me and then tame it.
I'd rather basically live in a "hell" rather than a place where these tall CREEPY creatures stare at you and a dragon keeps trying to kill you. The Nether
The Nether. I mean, yea its uber hot there, but lava from a distant doesnt hurt anyone. Unless youre like five feet from the drink, you'd be fine. Besides, Ive worked in 110*F weather, so, it wont bother me too much, but I'd need tons of water. But I could live out all my alchemy dreams, just gotta kill them blazes.
I'm pretty sure I'd commit suicide just as quickly in any of those places if the only other option would be to live the rest of my life there. Eep. o__o

I choose The End. One, you can hang out with the endermen when you befriend them. Two, you can befriend the ender dragon and ride it. Three, you can stare off into the sky. Four, in The End you can stay the ender dragon and then you get transported back to the overworked after all the boring dialog. Then the ender dragon respawns and thinks your plan was epic because you were right and he did respawn.
You don't burn in minecraft, If you could not survive in the nether at all for a second then why is it a option
this thread is talking about real life circumstances. The nether is so hot because of lava and blazes and all the smoke would be contained so you would suffocate sooner or later.

I see your point but if it were possible to live there
It would be much more of an adventure and what If I were an animal that could breathe smoke

EDIT: Srry, How do I remove my double post? :/
