There will be different sets, look in the orignial post for ideas of what those sets would be like.
I've seen the proposed sets. There's nothing overly interesting about them.
The only way they'd sell to non-Mincrafters, is for LEGO to have some creative license and redesign aspects of it.

What would you suggest? Knowing little kids, or atleast the ones that I know, they will buy almost anything that looks cool, especially if it has a few bad guys as well as a good guy or two in it. I'm sure people thought that LEGO Star Wars would only sell to Star Wars fans but in reality it just boosted the popularity of Star Wars.

Star Wars worked because LEGO had an endless amount of material to work with. Ships, characters, buildings..it was all there. You didn't need to be a Star Wars fan to like Star Wars LEGO
Minecraft doesn't really have any of that. There's only one character, a hand full of bad guys and no set structures.
That's why I said Lego would need some creative licence to develop sets with multiple characters and predefined structures.
Well Minecraft has predifined structures in the form of Strongholds and such. But I think we should just leave LEGO to decide what they do in terms of creative liscence.

i remeber playing with legos.
i wish i was still young so i could play with that stuff. being a kid was great, and now theyre just making it better for the current generation, making the rest of us older people so much more jealous of those kids.

Could you add the Ender Dragon to the Mob Bucket set suggestion? Also, I am going to try making the end set in LDD, ill pit a screenshot up when i'm done for you to look at
Looks awesome! I'd add it to the idea but I'm trying to keep the set pictures looking consistent. If you could convert that to use 3x3x3 blocks and make the Endermen (and Enderdragon if you really want to) 3 of those blocks tall I'll add it to the idea. I'm working on changing the other sets to 3x3x3 blocks but I have homework to do right now. Yay for procrastination!

Sure, ill get to it later though, don't have time now! Just put it as a prototype if you like the idea. And i will be making separate pictures and a model for the enderdragon, because its going to be rather large. Maybe something like this could be a Minecraft: Micro Set?
Looks perfect so far, and I'm glad to hear that Mojang was happy to work with lego if this succeeds. I just wanted to drop in a little opinion that I think that there should be a mine cart playset or the carts should be implemented in a few of the sets. They wouldn't have to be battery powered or anything you just have rail pieces and the cart piece, and they would fit together snuggly. (If you know how model trains fit onto tracks im talking about something like that.) Good luck with the project!

Also, Could you add the Blaze and Magma Cube to the nether set? And of course the mob bucket? Oh and slimes too :tongue.gif:
Sounds great! Ghasts would be too massive to put in the bucket anyways
Oh, and a farm with all the passive mobs and a Steve would be nice (Pumpkin and Wheat farm)Oh, and i made The End
Look good? It didn't take long to make though XD
