Materiels: Anything that isn't pink wool. Mithros is not an aesthetically-minded god, but he still despises pink.
Colours: See above.
Biomes: Anywhere with mountains.
Weapons: Flint and Steel/Steel Sword combo.
Armour: Iron armour set
Food: Anything, but it can only be eaten at night. If Mithros catches you slacking off during the day, there WILL be hell.
Shrine: A furnace surrounded by iron blocks on all sides except the front (sorry, photobucket hates me, so no screens).
Level One: Welcome to the Machine
Hippie: Play Minecraft as you normally would until you think you're ready. Proceed to step two.
Goin' Up!: Build a two-story house, and put a bed, double-chest and workbench in it.
Time to Mine!: Mine 24 blocks of iron, no more, no less. it doesn't matter where you get them.
Honorary Metalsmith: Make a set of Iron armour. Wear it. This is your new uniform, and must be worn at all times.
Apprentice Forge-master: Make a separate room in you house. This will be your forge room, and all metalsmithing from now on should happen here. Put in at least 4 furnaces.
Level Two: Metallurgical Practitioner
Ingoteer!: Mine at least 40 blocks of ore (iron or gold) and smelt them. Put them in your chest for later use.
Advocate: Embed a shrine to Mithros in the 1st floor wall opposite your door. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS FURNACE FOR ANYTHING UNLESS INSTRUCTED!
Stone is for wusses!: If you haven't already, make yourself a full set of iron tools. Do everything in your power to make sure that you have at least one of each tool (you do not, however, need a hoe) in your inventory at all times.
Beatdown: Go out and kill one of every hostile mob with your bare hands. If you die, start over with brand-new armour. Yes, you even have to kill a Spider Jockey. No, Mithros doesn't care if they're hard to find, so quit your wingeing and KILL ONE!
Level Three: Mechaniker
Ultimate efficiency: Build at least one cobblestone factory near your house. You must now use it/these for all cobblestone-gathering purposes. Bonus points if you made them automatic factories by using pistons.
Dabbling Trappist: Build at least 3 TNT landmines and 3 lava pitfalls near/around your house. If you accidentally kill yourself on one, you are officially a disgrace to Mithros. You must leave the faith, travel at least 50 chunks away, and begin a different faith.
Forgekeeper: Expand your forge room to double the number of furnaces. You now have to keep at least one running at all times.
No slacking off!: You may not eat anything during the day, when there is work to be done.
Lever four: Chief Artificer
Engineer: Build a railway to the the nearest mountain.
Architect: Build a 4-building mining town (one building if in SSP) at the end of the railway.
Take that, Roki!: Hollow out the mountain, completely (TNT mining is allowed).
Dwarf Fortress: Put in floors, windows, drawbridges over lava moats and obsidian piston gates. The Mountain is your new home.
Mechgineer: Replace your minecart tracks with a piston-powered monorail. Bonus points if you make it redstone-powered instead of using a bunch of levers and/or buttons.
Moving out: Tear down your house, and take everything with you back to your fortress. Set up shop in the main hall, rebuild your cobblestone factory(s) and build another shrine.
Level Five: Chosen of Mithros
Trans-Dwarf!: You must now begin mining. Mithros doesn't car how you do it, so long as the ONLY entrance to the mine is in your fortress, and you bring back at least 30 ores/gems/dusts per trip.
This is inadequate!: Make yourself some diamond tools.
What does this do?: Mine 14 obsidian and make a Nether Portal.
Setting up shop: Build an outpost in the Nether, with a double-chest and a redstone-powered dispenser array or TNT cannons to ward off any Ghasts without having to do more than press a button or pull a lever.
An interesting block, this is!: Mine out a crap-load of glowstone. Replace all the lighting in all of your homes with Glowstone.
Level Six: One with the Machine!
Incereratorium: Build a 2x2 or larger lava disposal put somewhere in your fortress.
Sacrifice for the greater good!: make one diamond, one gold, one lapis and one iron block. Dump them along with 9 redstone and 9 coal into the incinerator.
Foreman: Build a mechanical mole using pistons and redstone, and use it to mine out at least 4 chunks.
Modern it is!: Replace as much of the inside of your home as you can with iron blocks, and throw a huge party (at night, of course. Daytime is work-time!)
Yessir!: You are now one with the Machine. You have at least a PhD in redstone wiring, can make any follower of Roki envious of your mining skills, and could likely take over the world if you felt like it.
Retirement: You may now do whatever during the day, you have passed the six sacred tests of Mithros, and are worthy. May your days be longer than the next guy's and your hardships dealt with like a boss.
I know, I know, it's six steps. I simply felt that it wouldn't look right if smashed into four.
To those of you who will inevitably say this is impossible, I would like to tell you that I have LEGITIMATELY (no spawning or modding) completed this path, and any others of you that do each get 33 s, 4 s and a . USE THEM WISELY!
If you have any comments, questions, etc. that are well-stated and sensible (no trolling)about this god, please post them on this thread and I will answer them as soon as I can.
We did not invent the Algorithm. The Algorithm consistently finds Jesus. The Algorithm killed Jeeves. The Algorithm is banned in China. The Algorithm is from Jersey. The Algorithm constantly finds Jesus. This is not the Algorithm. This is Close.
i havean idea of how the first nether portal formed seeing the fight between the three siblings pennai stepped in she told roki to raise an arch of lava 4 meters(blocks)wide and 5 meters high with a hollow center then she told Terrae to cover it with water which made it solid. Roki looked apon it in aw amazed at the material invulnerable to almost anything then she told him to toss her a flint and steel which he did not questioning her. then she ignited the arch and drained all her anger into it making it hell then she added glowstone to allow her folowers to join her in the aether. this became the second portal ever made in minecraftia one was to the aether the other to the nether. She only felt hate to those who believe peace is weak from then on.
they like hord around me metaphoricly i have found three and for beatdown does this include giants?
No, because Giant's don't spawn naturally, and I don't want to pressure people into having to get SPC if they don't want to.

Terrifys me you spent such a long time making up this crap
Don't get me wrong, it is very well written and you put a lot of effort into it... But really?
Watch your use of adjectives mate. "Crap" is a good choice of words if you want to commence hostilities. Strange you think this took so much time. 2-3 hours bored at work on a Friday afternoon for the first 4 posts. People spend longer than this on there first in-game structure easily. A large chunk of the work on the other gods was community driven.
I won't be updating until I am content I have fully played through the 1.8 patch. So if this thread is still alive after I am done mucking around with 1.8 then I will update the paths.
Also I updated the main page with new scribes and acolytes.
Started with Terrae and got fairly far before Creepers blew me up and I couldn't find anything :dry.gif:
Now I'm about halfway through Penna and starting to get a little frustrated. Are we allowed to kill things if they're camping the entrance of the mineshaft?
...pic provided.
Interesting read, though I have a slightly different interpretation on things. Though you never mentioned how lava was formed. Is lava "Roki's blood", still found in the veins and arteries of his severed arm, which was turned into the stone of the world?
People i have a treat for you this will be in 2 posts though if you have a hard time choosing a god path because you like the virtues of certain gods here are your solutions:Paladians and dark knights(i will cover specifics in seperate posts)
First:PALADIAN
Armour: iron armour all except helmet
weopons:iron sword and bow(optional)
Food:They may eat any but cannot attack non-hostiles
gods:Penna,Terrae,Roki,Cryosa,Zane if he rises and mithros if he sides with the rest of these
Paladians believe peace can solve most problems not brute force and only attack if neccacary.
Step1
play normaly until you are ready to begin
Peaceful-You may never deliberitly attack a neutral mob this means wolves, pigmen, and not looked at endermen
less blood-You may never set a landmine or fire trap only small pitfalls the point of this path is to pasify not brutally murder
Build shelter if you have not yet
Alter:build an alter in this shape:
<blue wool><white wool><blue wool>
<gold block><gold block><gold block>
Step 2 Omage to the gods
now that you are properly sittuated you may now begin
Terrae: astablish a tree garden a wheat farm and a sugar cane farm
Roki:create a shrine to him on layer 11
Penna:create a new star in the sky(see revised penna path)
Zane:make him a nice grave and make a nice symbol behind it
Cryosa:make a cross of snow in the water
Mithros:Create a large pitfall(contradicting right?)
step 3
Pilgramage:make a map and find the top create an outpost camp there(like tents)
The dig:to help in strengthen ing your bond with roki and mithros make a 5x5-10x10 quarry near your outpost
honorable fighting:you may not use tnt as a weopon anymore
step 4
hunting dogs:tame at least 2 wolves for hunting and helping in battle you do not have to use them though
Cleansing: find a dungeon and clense it with light then find another spawner and mine it out
Dark knight
Armour:see paladian
weopon:see paladian
food:any
gods:Net hanem engie ninja poise
it is believed by dark knights that all can be solved with force. Though they do not contain the psichoticness of net folowers or the suicidal thoughts of enngie ninja the goddamned freakishness of poise or the direct curruptness of Hanem
Step 1
Begin when ready
Hostile:attack any that block your way
blood shed:it is frowned apon to make weak traps make fire pits and landmines
Alter:
<gray wool><black wool><gray wool>
<obsidian><obsidian><obsidian>
Step 2 omage to the gods
Net: create a hell portal and return with half a stack of netherack then go ham on them(you don't have to go ham on them)
Hanem: make a cactus farm
Enngie:Go out one night put it on hard and put down one torch then survive the night
Poise:make a small structure on water
Step 3
Trappist:create a large fire pit with the netherack from the last step
mexico's gulf:Create an oil rig in the water use this as your mine
Dark honor:Though this is hard to belive dark knights have honor but very little do not burn non hostiles or blow them up itentionally
step 4
soul reaping:every monster you kill you must store the drop in a special container in your house but can be crafted into something
dark wing:build a tower from which you can watch the battlefeild you must keep a dark eye on them and shoot them if need be
Engie2:ninja loot 2 dungeons without torches or force

dig around it or attempt to use non conventional weoponery
Decided to become an acolyte of Penna as my first ever Minecraft challenge run. It seemed like a simple place to start before I try living on a deserted island or something. I admit I cheated a little with building... I built on layer 117 because I needed enough room for a glass dome, and I used sandstone in the building because I thought it fit the aesthetic nicely.

ugh i just realized i was building stuff on my poise path with things outside of the path... *sigh* time to tear it all up and start again.
Doesn't matter!
As long as it looks cool.
Don't tear up your hard work if you like the result :smile.gif: just run with it. The paths can be modified to fit your own play style.

...Probably gonna do a run with the nature deity just to see how it goes. The whole pilgrimage idea sounds awesome.
I might just adapt this and make a "job" based variant once the full adventure mode is out and I've had a chance to see how it works.
And if anyone has read the book series "the Last Apprentice"....Yeah, I'm making a "job" like that as one of the playstyles. >: P
