Support, but change the Kronosaur's name to something else, because even though it technically isn't a dinosaur, these forums are full of trolls who will rage about anything dinosaurish. Maybe call it a Lurker or a Sharptooth, and say it was inspired by the Kronosaurus.

When will Minecraft stop updating? When pigs fly over the frozen plains of hell, twice in a blue moon, while Taylor Swift sings a song called, "Maybe I'm the Problem".

as i just changed in the OP its an unpopular idea because the model/ creature isn't " minecrafty enough" and i tend to agree with in hindsight.

Good to see this post is still getting attention, because oceans need more content. I like the idea of coral, you have my full support on that.
I support adding some underwater mobs, but none of the mobs in the op really jump out at me as good or bad, mostly because its hard to find an underwater mob that fits minecraft. Changing squids is a good place to start, but we do need to add something else.
I like the idea of shipwrecks, but boats dont sit on the shore of little islands, they sink (or at least if its in a deep area). There would need to be shipwrecks both run aground and down on the bottom of the ocean, mostly because those are harder to find.
Underwater terrain is a great thing to add/change. Currently all oceans are either shallow near an island or at the same depth as the rest of the ocean, give or take a block or two. There needs to be more variance and some areas that are more than 15 blocks deep. Deep areas do cut into caves somewhat, but they allow more room for underwater creations, which would make me very happy.

I love this ideas a lot! I have been a major fan of generated structures (however i'm disappointed with swamp huts)...deeper oceans would be a nice addition also, maybe all the way to y: 4-10. My absolute favorite idea of yours is coral. This would make the oceans VERY vibrant and colorful. COME ON MOJANG!

Has someone sent this to someone at Mojang yet? Or even one of our local mod makers? This is beautiful :'3 I love it! I kinda wish it was already a mod :s
coral should definitely be implemented and maybe and basalt for the first two layers of rock and randomly spawned sponges would eliminate the problem of no sponges in survival

I agree with pretty much everything (Including the kronosaurus... I think it looks awesome ) and think the ocean biomes need a little livening up. The wrecked ship and light houses are very cool
These things would make great additions to the ocean, it would actually make the ocean worth visiting.
