Nice, I'd add holding a love potion in your hand makes villagers follow you around like wheat does animals.

I was actually given the link of a post where Jeb supported the idea of a water potion and commented and said it was a good idea but it was never added to the game. This how ever has more infomation and potions and would have a better chance of getting inplimented. Thanks for the positive feedback!

Ya, sorry. Originally the water potion was the only potion and i got tons of positive support from that potion then I added the other potions and I wanted to see what other ones people liked. I'll try to add it but sometimes it doesn't work because I'm on my iPad.

Err... Climbing is a little over powered. It should only last about ten seconds, fifteen with redstone. Brewing should involve something from a spider, maybe awkward + ??? + spider eye?
Otherwise, well thought out suggestion that fits MC well!

I'm spitballing here, but could Love Potions use Wheat as its ingredient?

P.S. Water potion= epic fire fighting/anti-grief

Wait, why would we need a water potion if we already have water bottles?

Maybe it could be used to create a new ingredient. Possibly wheat and blaze powder to create golden wheat flaks. So add that to a alkward potion and you would get a love potion. Then add glow stone and you can get a lager area the potion effects so more animals that go into love mode. Thanks for the idea.

Isn't mojang adding a few new potions in the next update? Like the night vision potion? And two other new potions with the beacon thing. One thatmakes you mine faster and one that makes you jump higher.

Ya, your right. The potions you are talking about already were in the game actually. They were in the 1.9.5 snapshot I believe. They did not get added because the potions anges from being brewed in cauldrons to brewing stands so that messed a few things up. But it's good to know they are adding new potions to the game. How ever I not know how the beacon potions will be able to be used and if they can only be used with the beacon and not as regular potions in the bottle. But we'll hav to wait to 1.4 to see.

All of these seem awesome.

Also, as an alchemist, potions gets boring fast. Adding new potions is a great way to make an update better in my opinion

some good ideas there, but the potion of curing is pointless with the bucket of milk already being in the game.

Pretty much all the potions are boring/uninspired/pointless/already-present with the exception of the extra-health potion.

Meh. I could come up with better, but I doubt it'd get much of a read.

I kind of do agree with you that the potion of curing is a bit useless just to cure bad potion effects but the part where it cures zombie villagers back into villagers, I think is the best and most helpful part and the reason why people would use this potion.

Well I gusse people have different opinions.. I would actually think the opisite of your opinion. The extra health potion is very similar to instant health and regeneration so it is a bit boring/uninspiring/pointless/already-present in the game to me but all the other potions I like really much but the extra health potion is still a good potion, don't get me wrong.

I have just updated the topic adding a few new potions and I added a few new potions last night.
Water Breathing Potion
Potion of Confussing
Extra Health Potion
Potion of Curing

I also updated the poll for those who had been asking for the water splash potion to be added to it and I added those new potions as well.

Awesome, I support 100%. Well except for the confusing potion...I think that it will be better if you added an effect to it where if you throw it on a monster they will forget about attacking you and start attacking a random entity next to them.

ex: Throw it on a creeper so the creeper will blow up the annoying cow on the hill instead of you.

Well that is one of the reasons I added the poll to see the most popular potions. The ones people do not like is was planning on taking off but first I wated to First give people an potion. But I do agree with you, some of these potions I do not like as much as some of the others but if people like them I'll keep them.

I think water breathing or double health would possibly make it into the game the other have a low chance i think i would really want the double health to be added tho.

Good ideas, except for the potion of curing. I understand it would let you chuck it on your friends and make them all better, but milk already cures negative effects.

I know. But Milk cures all positive and negative effects while I think potion of curing remove negative effect only. Plus can you make a milk bucket into an spash potion?
