Quick question: I found a bit of a bug; is this the place to post it? I didn't see any specific bug forum here. If there is a place to do that, can someone direct me there please?
Pretty nice guide!
(Just wish it wasn't just a picture, Loading a huge picture just kills my Laptop)
Also, about the Grammar, Some people don't have English as they're first language, And therefore they have an excuse, The thing is, theres also kids who don't know sh*t about grammar even thou its they're first language, So, it goes both ways.

Totally NOT an excuse. Most people that have English as a second language are that much more committed to correctly writing English because they wish to be understood.
You can literally TELL when someone has trouble with English and makes a solid attempt. They includes subtleties like failure to acknowledge the use of article adjectives, 'a', "an", "the"; there is a profound lack of prepositional phrases (leaving their sentences dry and straight-to-the-point. BORING, but concise.) Germanic languages like Romanian, German(duh), Norwegian, etc. HAVE article adjectives so it's much easier for them.
In essence, the vast majority of non-English speaking writers write FAR better than the majority that grow up taking it for granted. That's a humiliating fact.
It's in the same way one would be exceptionally careful when attempting to write Japanese to convey the correct statement.
"we shud hav undrwatr creprs 2" is not a fabrication of "non-English speakers", it is the fabrication of a dumbass that somehow confuses a discussion forum with a txt message despite their clear differences.

Or, maybe, just POSSIBLY, someone who is mentally retarded (Not the insult, the actual mental problem) or maybe has Dyslexia.
Although... normally it's just a moron who can't use a keyboard without using 'txt tlk'.

I don't want to sound elitist when I say this, but it's going to come out sounding like that no matter how I try to word it. If someone has a mental handicap that prevents them from properly discussing topics, they really shouldn't be on a discussion forum. It seems like a complete mismatch.
For those with Dyslexia, they should really re-read what they write to compensate for their ailment.
Gotta love this guide. I think every user should have to read this while server admins stare at them watching their every move at their own house. Damn lazy typers
Removing some posts here and there. There is a very good chance this will be post purged and locked if people don't stop bickering. And seeing how that would mean that every time the OP wants to update this awesome guide he would need to PM a moderator. I don't think we should all have to do more work because some people can't stop arguing.

Most "bad suggestors" are newly spawned. Meaning under 10 posts.
While I have seen some Darwin award winners from much more extensively posted participants, adding in a 10 post minimum before posting a new thread could answer a lot of problems in addition to posting this guide on start-up.
Hey i was just wondering about something, i know im probably way late lol but i heard recently that the END took over something called skylands. So i just wanted to know if they were still thinking about adding it or do something with it for Minecraft. It might be a bad idea to some people especially to those who mine a lot lol. But it just sounds like something that might be fun to mess around with on creative mode or something for the game. I was wondering so if you guys can give some info to this newb lol i would appreciate it. -Thanks
This is true. Though it does seem fairly harsh we do see a lot of newly spawned players making the 'bad suggestions' or the suggestions with no detail etc.
We're not revoking them the right to post. Just a good measure to ensure that they can join the community and entertain a few topics before starting some of their own. You won't be newly spawned for long, and getting to know the site and community can be beneficial. Also noticing someone else's bad post getting flamed to the ground will prevent newly spawned posters from repeat mistakes.
Most "add guns", "obsidian tools", etc. topics are caused by 1 post wonders that get discouraged and leave the forum. Enforcing a 10 post minimum discourages such behavior as time has already been invested.
The downside is that these members, eager to get their awesome original "sandwich=bread+pork" idea out in the open will instead flood 10 threads with bump to get the requisite number before posting their content.

The only person who adds to it is me now, so if this topic was locked, I'd have to send Theriasis another image, and then she would have to PM a mod. C'mon guys, let's not have that happen.
Excellent information sheet. One thing I'm noticing though is a lot of people who post suggestions are first time posters and they don't know how to edit the OP, add concept images, reply to another person. General good ideas for how to post. Is there a chance this could be expanded or there could be a link on it to an FAQ?

OT: Awesome guide, now we just have to actually get the people it applies to to READ the fricken thing.

Here's a shot out of a cannon. Those who visit the suggestion forums for the first time are greeted with a pop-up:
Woah there! Before you go on and post a suggestion, please read the guide at this thread before doing so. It may save you a lot of embarrassment.
Although I'm sure newbs would still click out of the pop-up and continue with their bad ideas.
