Though Villages in general definitely need a complete upgrade, even since the addition of Iron Golems and Villager Breeding, I did have one particular idea for Villages that would give them a lot more flavour and variety. My idea was that every Village should have a Wonder spawn with it, which would make the Villages a lot more exciting and put a whole new level Village Factionwar as Factions could try and collect one of each wonder. Here are my ideas so far (I would love any suggestions and votes on the poll); Village Wonders; Quick Wonder Note; All Wonders contain Chests within them, that have similar items inside to Blacksmiths, but in higher quantities as Wonders are harder to get into. Pyramid of Cheops; Sandstone pyramid with a dark tomb in the middle - basically a breeding pit for Zombies, but it's locked by a Iron Door to prevent the Zombies griefing the Village any more than the Village needs to be. Acropolis; A Temple sitting on top of a hill that is spawned with it as part of the Wonder. It's a structure made out of Smooth Stone and layered over with White Wool to give it that, heavenly, marbled look. Very tightly isolated Lightning Storms would often spawn around the Acropolis, making it and any Village around it a very bad place to keep Pigs. Eifel Tower; A towering... tower that comes up from the village, constructed of Iron Bars and with a small pod at the top with glass windows around, showing you an excellent view of the surrounding Village, the world beyond, and sometimes the tips of other tall Wonders. Statue of Liberty; A tall Smooth Stone statue that holds a huge Wood tower in her hand, tipped with many real Torches to make the effect of a large Torch from afar. The head is hollow, and contains Glass windows that you can see through, similar to the Eifel Tower. Sydney Harbour Bridge; Along with this Wonder, a large river would spawn next to the Village. The Chest-containing interior of the Harbour Bridge would be beneath up at the top, meaning you have to dangerously ascend along the suspension wires to reach the room. The Harbour Bridge is also lined with Minecart Rails along the outer edges of the road. Sydney Opera House; This Wonder has a chance of spawning alongside the Harbour Bridge, but not on its own, so capturing/finding the Sydney Harbour Village has a chance of giving double benefits. It is made out of Iron Blocks covered in White Wool. The inside of the Opera House is half-filled with Wooden Stairs to represent Seats, and then the other half is filled with a Wooden Slab stage that is covered in an organised pattern of Jukeboxes and Note Blocks, with the Wonder Chest concealed behind all of those. The Pharos at Alexandria; Just a giant Smooth Stone tower covered in Wool to pattern it like it used to look. At the top is a Glass Chamber filled with Glowstone that spreads light all across the Village, and randomly spawned amongst the Glowstone is the Wonder Chest. It protects Zombies from spawning directly into the Village. Along with this Wonder, a small lake spawns beside it, with 0-3 Boats spawning inside it. The Sphinx; The Sphinx is a giant Sandstone structure that looks like an Ocelot with Chicken wings and a Caveman Squidward/Testificate head. Inside is a maze similar to the dungeon inside the Pyramid, but Ocelots can spawn inside the Sphinx. Yes, you heard me. Ocelots. Yes, Ocelots are the ones that are pretty rare-ish because the only spawn in Jungles. Yes, that’s right, viewer – this means you can start Ocelot Farming by tearing down the Sphinx and building a huge paddock over the Wonder-effect zone. Happy now, Minecraftian Cat-Lovers? Venice Canals; The Venice Canals would be a Village-Wide Wonder. If a Village has a Venice Canals spawn in it, the entire Village will spawn on top of Clay Islands in the middle of a Lake. 5-15 Boats would spawn inside the Lake, and would always be in front of a House’s door. The Villagers in this Village would have to get into the Boats (which would require an AI update specifically for this Village, but I think it’s worth it) and sail to where they want to be. However, two Villagers and two Child Testificates can fit in a Boat at a time, so they can still breed (LOL Gondolas XD). The Wonder Chest in this Wonder would simply be replaced by a higher-stocked Blacksmith’s Chest, and there would always be a Blacksmith. Statue of Zeus; this statue would be made out of Wood and would be covered in Coloured Wool to make it look like it used to. However, it wouldn’t look completely like it used to, due to dramatically reduced resolution, and the fact that is has a Squidward nose. It’s Chest would be hidden inside its actual chest. Atlantis; This Wonder is similar to the Venice Canals Wonder, but it would spawn an entire huge Lake that covers the whole Village, but the Village would be covered in a Glass Dome to prevent Villager Drowning. There would, however, be a tunnel outside the dome that leads into the Village, to prevent the Village flooding when you attempt to enter it. However, Atlantis would come with its own Wonder to it, to make it actually special. On top of the dome would be a Stone pedestal that continues upwards until it reaches the surface, then on top of it would be a statue of Poseidon. This statue would be similar to the Statue of Zeus, as the Chest is hidden inside his chest. Sacrificial Altars; These would be giant Gold Block pyramids with steps leading up the sides, and a Lapis-and-Gold patterned temple at the top. Inside the temple would be the Chest, and, occasionally, some Obsidian, because the Aztecs and Mayans used Obsidian Knifes to cut open the chests (see what I did there?) of their sacrificial victims. Stonehenge; This would simply be a circle of Stone pillars inside the Village. However, if you excavate into the ground beneath the Henge, you would find an Obsidian Box with a Trapdoor in the top. Inside this Obsidian Box is the Chest. If you watch Doctor Who, you’ll know what this is supposed to be ;3 The Catacombs of Paris; Though not really in Paris in Minecraft, they’d spawn directly underneath any of the Houses. Excavate the floor of all the Houses, and eventually you’ll find the Trapdoor entrance to the Catacombs. The Catacombs is basically a mob spawn pit, and the Chest can be found deep within the tunnels. The Washington Monument; Simply a 3*3, hollow, Iron Block tower with a Pyramid at the top, covered in White Wool. Simply somehow make it to the very top of the tower, break it open, and the Chest is yours. The White House; A Smooth Stone building covered in White Wool, with a senate-looking room inside. Hidden inside the judge’s chair is the Chest. The NASA Space Program; This Wonder is made up of two towers. One of these is ‘L’-shaped and made of Iron Bars, and the other is made of Iron Blocks nestled into the angle of the Bars tower, and covered in Coloured Wool to make it look like the real shuttle. Inside the shuttle is a spiral stairway leading up to a random Stone Stair control panel. Dig into this ‘Control Panel’ and you will find your Chest. The Supercollider; The Supercollider is an Iron Block building, simply a circle, with a complex Smooth Stone pipe system mounted on top. Inside is a few pitch-black monster spawners, and below these is a lava pit. This system continues around the Collider pipe system. When inside the main room, you will hear the cries and groans of spawned monsters walking into the Lava, which would add a nice atmospheric effect. Inside the pipe system is the Chest, buried underneath the river of Lava. Bring you Buckets! Update- 13.4.2012 Easter Island Heads (suggestion by Jorge06); The Easter island heads would simply be Caveman Squidward heads made of Smooth Stone scattered around the Village. The Wonder Chest would spawn inside a random head, so you ahev to go around smashing open every head until you find the Chest. Taiwan 101 Tower; This Iron and Glass spire is 101 Blocks tall, and the Chest could spawn on any of the floors. The front entrance is blocked by an Iron Door, so, unless you want to break in through the walls, you'll need to supply your own power source. On every floor is a set of Stone Stairs, so you don't have to build a tower and bash open the cieling to climb up. Terra Cotta Army; Clay statues surround a single tomb with another huge Clay statue on top. Inside this tomb is yet another mob spawn pit. The Chest is hidden within, yet again, the main statue's chest.
These are the Wonders so far. I am updating it often, but please do add your own suggestions to Wonders, and your general feedback as to whether they should be added at all!
Some of these seem too advanced for Minecraft if I do say so myself, but.... I do agree on a stone hinge or Ester island head landmark as a wonder. I just think it would fit Minecraft better.
I like idea of wonders of villager creations but a lot of your ideas are stupid. They should be made of common materials and kept reasonbly small, possibly buried in leaves and vines reasonably

Well, the ones that are advanced I just reckon would look cool... Also, thanks for the Easter Island Heads suggestion, I'll add it now!

Oh, so the puny no-avatar tree puncher calls my ideas stupid, eh?
Look, get serious mate. They're Wonders. They're supposed to be big. Seriously.
And who cares if they're made out of advanced-ish materials? Villages are fairly rare in Normal worlds, and plus, you need the right tool to be able to mine the Wonders anyway.
I mean, really...

Excuse me, but that was my comment you just read there, bub.
everything up to acropolis would be cool and doable, everything after that, well you are just copying things already made in real life, and imo, too advanced for the MC code to handle
i'd personally like to see some of those zombie tombs just randomly placed around the world

Well, the whole point in Wonders is that they are things that existed or do exist in real life... And the Acropolis would actually be quite easy to make if you coded a radius around the Acropolis, and added a weather code to make it quite often have thunderstorms within said radius... But anyway, thanks for your feedback.

Geez man, calm down. I personally don't like the idea of 'wonders' at all. For one, half the things you put there are real places, which wouldn't fit into the theme/setting of Minecraft. Something like a strange arrangement of stones? Maybe. A giant freakin modern glass tower? Hell no. The world of Minecraft is not supposed to feel massively populated, and having rare, tiny villages fits that. Also, you have to think about scale. If you have a huge pyramid next to a town, the town and villagers are no longer the cool part about it.
To be honest, the only thing I would want added to villagers (apart from AI, obviously) would be something hinting to the creation of Golems. Maybe a ruin of an ancient machine/mystical building that was once used to create those big ol' metallic guardians.

You want an answer to Golems?
Look, it's obvious we both have very different ideas about what Minecraft's future needs. I, for one, am against anything being added that furthers any information about Golems.

No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
I don't see almost any of this working out. They're called villages for a reason. They aren't huge cities with huge structures. The only Wonders I can see happening are Stongehenge and the Easter Island heads. Minecraft villages don't need skyscrapers or space shuttles/
some of the ideas... you can just find a village and loot the 'wonders' like the gold block alter and the iron block thing. so, it would make mining less frequently if you find a village with those and they respawn. it is like this: find village > loot > go away > respawns > repeat
Nice idea, probably the wrong angle on it. Yes, villages should each have a particular structure which is meaningful beyond 'just another regular villager building'. A wonderous and really rare generation. Considering the technological level of these villagers (somewhere between Neolithic and European Dark Ages), it shouldn't be something particularly huge, as they simply wouldn't have the capacity to build it, if we think about it seriously. Nor should it really be anything which we know well in our world, like the Eiffel Tower or the Statue of Liberty.
Statues make sense though. A stone statue of a villager, with his arms outstretched, although probably difficult to build to the small scale it'd have to be to prevent it from being HUUUUUUUGGE, would be pretty impressive, especially if it was so rare that it's got a next to nothing chance of existence.
Pyramids probably are getting in the game soon anyway, judging by the new sandstone blocks, possibly as an alternative form of Stronghold, or perhaps hinting at a new kind of zombie-like mob, so that's not really a village necessity...
Sacrificial altars would be nice, and the Easter Island heads, despite what I said earlier about real-world Wonders being a bad idea, probably could work pretty well.
Generally pretty well thought out.
Not really related, but I think that some kind of watchtower should probably be a part of villager generation eventually. Something wood and stoney, that's higher than the castle/church/whateveritis.
The statues you're talking about should probably just be one block.
No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...
`while I like the idea of wonders, I'd rather not rip off real life. also, why would a villae barely past the stone age have skyscrapers. at least pyrramids last a few thousand years. so a dark age could be an excuse [and would fit the theme fairly well with abandoned mineshafts and stuff]. but after that long a skyscraper would look like a rusted pile of scrap metal [which oul have probably been harvested for tool making meterials ten years after it was abandoned].

First off i have to attack on the tech level of these villagers.... Its somewhere between throwing poop and eating it..... I was thinking more along the lines of what a painting is .... place block if u dont like specific statue destroy place type deal.... variation in size = more complexity. Honestly get 3 nice tech pack guys together and you can have that done in a day =D
Imagine coming into a town where in the center is a statue of the character riding on the back of a white horse in Napoleons vestments =D
Once the villagers get smart maybe they will have the capability to defend themselves maybe they can have watchtowers and walls and a changing of the guard in Sweden.... until then this will be for nothing
Oh, so the puny no-avatar tree puncher calls my ideas stupid, eh? Insulting people who disagree with you, nice way to start a thread. He insulted my idea - I simply called him by what he was - literally, a no-icon tree puncher.

You want Space Shuttles, Hadron Colliders and Skyscrapers in Minecraft? Do you have ANY idea how out of place these things would look? And the fact that most of them are made of huge amounts of Iron Blocks is pretty game breaking, considering how useful Iron Armour is.
And having buildings covered in wool just doesn't sound appealing either. White wool =/= Marble.
People already build Space Shuttles and Skyscrapers - what's wrong with having them already implemented into the game?
And as long as we don't have marble in the game, we're going to have to use White Wool anyway. Duh.
Goodness, this is worst idea I've seen since the idea of Jungle tarzan.
Aw, how sweet. You even made a banner for it.
Seriously though. You haven't read many suggestions obviously. There have been ones out there for cook-able rotten flesh.

What? That was the point in Wonders - for the chests.
And plus, why in Minecraftia would they respawn? ARE YOU CRAZY?! You made the idea worse yourself.

Well, the point in wonders at all was that they imitated real li9fe. There's no fun in a wonder that we've only heard of from the game it spawned in itself.
Wonders, like I said, are supposed to be from real life - otherwise they wouldn't really be wonders, would they.
And the villages aren't 'barely past the stone age'. Man didn't even wear clothes during the stone age. We're thinking the dark ages here - almost a millenia after the stone age.
First off i have to attack on the tech level of these villagers.... Its somewhere between throwing poop and eating it..... I do not like these ideas. Some are WAY too big. It would completely dwarf the entire village, and most of the stuff would just look stupid in the middle of nowhere.
He insulted my idea - I simply called him by what he was - literally, a no-icon tree puncher. It's the duty of the Op to remain calm and composed even under pressure. If the Villages did make huge structures already, I wouldn't be suggesting this. Seriously. This makes absolutely no sense so I wont even bother answering. Actually, most of these were built by civilisations before the civilisations had formed empires at all. Wait, what!? The only things on this list that wasn't built by a huge empire are the Easter Island heads and Stonehenge. I could even name the empires (I've also listed reasons these are out of place in villages): Pyramid of Cheops Made by the ancient Egyptians, one of the largest and most powerful ancient societies. Acropolis This isn't actually a wonder, it's a word meaning "high city" or "citadel". Now if you were talking about the Acropolis in Athens then that would be a wonder... built by the ancient Greek empire. Eiffel Tower Built by the French during renaissance times, took much work to build (also, French empire). Statue of Liberty This was built less than 200 years ago by the Americans and designed by the French. That's 2 countries working on it, are you going to try to convince me a small village of at most 20 people could do the same? Sydney Harbor Bridge Again, built only 200 years ago. This wonder broke world records for widest and longest bridge in the world, villages can't do that (Australia). Sydney Opera House I have seen numerous plays inside this wonder and I can honestly say that this greatly surpasses the technology levels of a village. Sydney is one of the largest and richest cities in Australia, are you going to try and convince me that a small village could match it's greatness (or any Australian city, for that matter)? The Pharos at Alexandria A huge construct built by the ancient Greek empire. The Sphinx Ancient Egyptian empire. The canals of Venice Built and owned by the Roman empire and later the Byzantine empire, and for the record: it's called the Grand Canal. However, this could be an interesting land-form, wooden paths should generate in villages if the spawn over water. Staue of Zeus Ancient Greeks again, and the Testificate clearly have a different religion. Atlantis Doesn't exist, but if it were ever in Minecraft it should be totally unrelated to villages. Sacrificial Altar The Aztecs and Mayans are 2 different empires, please specify which you're talking about. Oh, and it's called a ziggurat. This one could actually work, as long as it looks like someone other than the villagers made itand the villagers are studying it. The catacombs of Paris Catacombs in general could just be a new structure, I don't get why they'd be related to villages (French empire). The Washington monument A tower made of iron blocks!? Facepalm (and it was built by the American empire). The White House See above The NASA Space Program Come on. These people are living in small, single roomed wooden house and you think they should have spaceships (also, American empire)!? The Supercollider See above. The Easter IslandHeads Same as StoneHenge. Taiwan 101 Tower This was only built 10 years ago by the republic of China, and wouldn't fit under the sky layer. Terra Cotta Army Explain to me how these statues would be made. Also ancient Chinese empire
I've proved you wrong about them being made before empires existed.
I mean, really... I mean, really...

And plus, why in Minecraftia would they respawn? ARE YOU CRAZY?! You made the idea worse yourself. For once I agree with you.
Well, the point in wonders at all was that they imitated real li9fe. There's no fun in a wonder that we've only heard of from the game it spawned in itself. Minecraft isn't supposed to steal ideas from real life society, that would kill the idea of it being "other-worldly".
Wonders, like I said, are supposed to be from real life - otherwise they wouldn't really be wonders, would they. Same as above.
And the villages aren't 'barely past the stone age'. Man didn't even wear clothes during the stone age. We're thinking the dark ages here - almost a millenia after the stone age. You clearly don't know anything about the stone age, people wore clothes, they had houses (makeshift house, but those are still houses), they even had tools and weapons. It's called the stone age because people used stones frequently in manufacturing.
No, there has never, ever been a sandbox game with a story or ending... except Grand Theft Auto... and Saints Row... and Red Dead Redemption... and Crack Down... and Assassins Creed...

He insulted my idea - I simply called him by what he was - literally, a no-icon tree puncher. It's the duty of the Op to remain calm and composed even under pressure. What? I was calm. How many times must I say - he was literally a tree=puncher with no icon. Jeez. If the Villages did make huge structures already, I wouldn't be suggesting this. Seriously. This makes absolutely no sense so I wont even bother answering. Wow. Tried learning English? Actually, most of these were built by civilisations before the civilisations had formed empires at all. Wait, what!? The only things on this list that wasn't built by a huge empire are the Easter Island heads and Stonehenge. I could even name the empires (I've also listed reasons these are out of place in villages): Pyramid of Cheops Made by the ancient Egyptians, one of the largest and most powerful ancient societies. Still technically not an empire. Acropolis This isn't actually a wonder, it's a word meaning "high city" or "citadel". Now if you were talking about the Acropolis in Athens then that would be a wonder... built by the ancient Greek empire. I listed the Wonder as the Acropolis, of course I meant the Acropolis at Athens. And my point still stands - the Greeks never had an empire. They were fairly peaceful and kept thier cities within thier own borders. Eiffel Tower Built by the French during renaissance times, took much work to build (also, French empire). Obviously, you have no idea what an Emire is. Sure, the French owned britain for a copuple hundred years, but that barely counts as an Empire. I mean, the Vikings invaded Britain and they weren't an empire in the slightest sense. Statue of Liberty This was built less than 200 years ago by the Americans and designed by the French. That's 2 countries working on it, are you going to try to convince me a small village of at most 20 people could do the same? Look, there's no reason we shouldn't make some Villages bigger. Sydney Harbor Bridge Again, built only 200 years ago. This wonder broke world records for widest and longest bridge in the world, villages can't do that (Australia). I know where it was built, I live there. Jeez. Urm... You seem to be sucking up to the Australians alot... I'm beginning to think you live there too. The Pharos at Alexandria A huge construct built by the ancient Greek empire. Okay, okay, this time you're right. The Greeks did actually become an empire during the times of Alexander the Great and/or the city of Alexandria. But it's just a lighthouse, seriously. The Sphinx Ancient Egyptian empire. There. Was. No. Egyptian. EMPIRE!!! The canals of Venice Built and owned by the Roman empire and later the Byzantine empire, and for the record: it's called the Grand Canal. However, this could be an interesting land-form, wooden paths should generate in villages if the spawn over water. The canals of Venice (alright alright, the Grand Canals. Jeez.) weren't built by the Romans, people. They were just taken by the Romans a few years after they were built, and that's why venice is now part of Italy. And plus, the Byzantine empire was actually a sub-division of the Roman empire - they belonged to the city of Byzantium, which was the capital of the Greek-speaking half of the Roman empire. And plus, though I like your support at the end, it totally overrules any objection you made about the Canals. Staue of Zeus Ancient Greeks again, and the Testificate clearly have a different religion. No Greeks had an empire, again. And who ever said they followed another religion? Priests are just powerful religious people - the Greeks had them too. Atlantis Doesn't exist, but if it were ever in Minecraft it should be totally unrelated to villages. Meh. Um... With clay? oh didn't think of that? Too bad.
I've proved you wrong about them being made before empires existed. No you haven't - but I've proved you wrong on whatever your concept of an empire was.
I mean, really... I mean, really... I mean, really...
People already build Space Shuttles and Skyscrapers - what's wrong with having them already implemented into the game?
And as long as we don't have marble in the game, we're going to have to use White Wool anyway. Duh. Because, like I already proved, they don't fit the game at all. Then why do people build them, huh?
Aw, how sweet. You even made a banner for it.
Seriously though. You haven't read many suggestions obviously. There have been ones out there for cook-able rotten flesh. Cook-able rotten flesh at least fits with the game, this doesn't in the slightest. Um, no, cook-able rotten flesh does not fit in the slightest, neither with the game or with the entire point of Rotten Flesh.
What? That was the point in Wonders - for the chests. What? Your suggesting Jeb makes gigantic structures just for loot? I mean, really... Read the whole thing, buddy. I said something about flavour, I believe.
And plus, why in Minecraftia would they respawn? ARE YOU CRAZY?! You made the idea worse yourself. For once I agree with you. Thankyou.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Excuse me, but that was my comment you just read there, bub.
Village Wonders;
Quick Wonder Note; All Wonders contain Chests within them, that have similar items inside to Blacksmiths, but in higher quantities as Wonders are harder to get into.
If you watch Doctor Who, you’ll know what this is supposed to be ;3
The Catacombs of Paris; Though not really in Paris in Minecraft, they’d spawn directly underneath any of the Houses.
Update - 13.4.2012
Easter Island Heads (suggestion by Jorge06); The Easter island heads would simply be Caveman Squidward heads made of Smooth Stone scattered around the Village.
~Jake
Well, the ones that are advanced I just reckon would look cool... Also, thanks for the Easter Island Heads suggestion, I'll add it now!
Oh, so the puny no-avatar tree puncher calls my ideas stupid, eh?
Look, get serious mate. They're Wonders. They're supposed to be big. Seriously.
And who cares if they're made out of advanced-ish materials? Villages are fairly rare in Normal worlds, and plus, you need the right tool to be able to mine the Wonders anyway.
I mean, really...
i'd personally like to see some of those zombie tombs just randomly placed around the world
rate, comment, subscribe
The statues you're talking about should probably just be one block.
Insulting people who disagree with you, nice way to start a thread.
He insulted my idea - I simply called him by what he was - literally, a no-icon tree puncher.

If the Villages did make huge structures already, I wouldn't be suggesting this. Seriously.

Advanced-'ish' materials don't fit with these villages at all, do you see anything advanced in them now? Wonders like most of these are made by huge empires, think about where you're suggesting these go.
Actually, most of these were built by civilisations before the civilisations had formed empires at all.
I mean, really...

So a Pyramid in the middle of nowhere would look more stupid than a Village in the middle of nowehere, eh?

It's the duty of the Op to remain calm and composed even under pressure.
What? I was calm. How many times must I say - he was literally a tree=puncher with no icon. Jeez.
If the Villages did make huge structures already, I wouldn't be suggesting this. Seriously.
This makes absolutely no sense so I wont even bother answering.
Wow. Tried learning English?
Actually, most of these were built by civilisations before the civilisations had formed empires at all.
Wait, what!? The only things on this list that wasn't built by a huge empire are the Easter Island heads and Stonehenge. I could even name the empires (I've also listed reasons these are out of place in villages):
Pyramid of Cheops
Made by the ancient Egyptians, one of the largest and most powerful ancient societies.
Still technically not an empire.
Acropolis
This isn't actually a wonder, it's a word meaning "high city" or "citadel".
Eiffel Tower
Built by the French during renaissance times, took much work to build (also, French empire).
Obviously, you have no idea what an Emire is. Sure, the French owned britain for a copuple hundred years, but that barely counts as an Empire. I mean, the Vikings invaded Britain and they weren't an empire in the slightest sense.
Statue of Liberty
This was built less than 200 years ago by the Americans and designed by the French. That's 2 countries working on it, are you going to try to convince me a small village of at most 20 people could do the same?
Look, there's no reason we shouldn't make some Villages bigger.
Sydney Harbor Bridge
Again, built only 200 years ago. This wonder broke world records for widest and longest bridge in the world, villages can't do that (Australia).
I know where it was built, I live there. Jeez.
Sydney Opera House
I have seen numerous plays inside this wonder and I can honestly say that this greatly surpasses the technology levels of a village. Sydney is one of the largest and richest cities in Australia, are you going to try and convince me that a small village could match it's greatness (or any Australian city, for that matter)?
Urm... You seem to be sucking up to the Australians alot... I'm beginning to think you live there too.
The Pharos at Alexandria
A huge construct built by the ancient Greek empire.
Okay, okay, this time you're right. The Greeks did actually become an empire during the times of Alexander the Great and/or the city of Alexandria. But it's just a lighthouse, seriously.
The Sphinx
Ancient Egyptian empire.
There. Was. No. Egyptian. EMPIRE!!!
The canals of Venice
Built and owned by the Roman empire and later the Byzantine empire, and for the record: it's called the Grand Canal.
Staue of Zeus
Ancient Greeks again, and the Testificate clearly have a different religion.
No Greeks had an empire, again. And who ever said they followed another religion? Priests are just powerful religious people - the Greeks had them too.
Atlantis
Doesn't exist, but if it were ever in Minecraft it should be totally unrelated to villages.
Meh. Can't help ageeing with you there.
Sacrificial Altar
The Aztecs and Mayans are 2 different empires, please specify which you're talking about. Oh, and it's called a ziggurat.
This one could actually work, as long as it looks like someone other than the villagers made it and the villagers are

And what did you say about StoneHenge?
Taiwan 101 Tower
This was only built 10 years ago by the republic of China, and wouldn't fit under the sky layer.
Meh. Couldn't be bothered researching the actual height limit.

Explain to me how these statues would be made. Also ancient Chinese empire
