I had an idea. What if there were other people? I don't mean something like those other human mods, but other humans that have to survive like yourself.
These other people would have to build a shelter, get wood, and not get killed by hostile mobs. The other people would not have infinite resources, they would have to chop down trees to get wood and tools. They have to mine for ores to upgrade their tools too. They have to eat too, so they have to kill pigs, cows, etc. These people would basically be clones of you, but have different skins.
Another feature would be that you could talk with them. You can trade resources with them. You could even kill them if you wanted.
This is just an idea. These ideas would not be permanent. They can be changed to work better.

Hey he/she probably never used one of the pre-releases, or completely ignored all of the news and tweets about notch adding them to the game...but yeah they are clueless.
Well, it sounds cool meeting them and trading, but I don't want them happily hacking away at my world. If you meet one after months of playing, its most likely that the landscape's going to be pretty ugly.

Not always. Does your landscape look ugly after months of playing? And they would be coded to plant trees back & stuff.
This would be for people would don't play on multiplayer or get mods. Like myself.
So you want notch to waste his time on difficult coding because you are lazy and anti-social?

After 10:30 PST, my IQ drops to around that of a shovel, please disregard anything I say after aforementioned time, it will likely not make any sense, and is best ignored.
First of all, it's supposed to be single player survival for a reason. If you wanted to play with other people, you would go play on a multiplayer survival. Many people enjoy single player for the isolation. Actual human like bots would also be difficult to add. They would most likely be incredibly stupid, and no bot can imitate a human completely without looking like a complete idiot. There's no point adding in bots to a ssp world if you could just play smp for a far better experience.

If single player survival is meant to be lonely, then how do you explain the other mods that add humans?
So many people talking about mods or multiplayer...
Some people either: perfer to stick with vanilla minecraft, or don't know how to install mods.
and some don't have a multiplayer server to play on.
Well that's they're problem, either figure out how to download mods or Google 'Minecraft multiplayer servers' and then you're done, no need to add humans to Minecraft and ruin the game.

The Isles, an arctic Sky Dimension that should be used along with the End.

Post comments with your ideas.
Ummmm.
1)Multiplayer servers.
2)Minecolony Mod
STFU he's giving an idea that would make NPCs better. They would have to build their town, instead of it just magically spawning

Bots.
I like that idea myself

No, i'm not saying that this should be added to the game. I'm simply giving an idea, something to think about.
Alternatives are fin but not actual humans.

Why does everyone think I don't have an avatar? Is there anyone who can see the one black pixel.
Please click the dragons, they need to grow. Also, my fully grown dragons can be found in my bio.
In game things need to be explained unlike mods.
