I love the all caps rage on TL;DRs! However, I only ever read super long posts like this if there is a TL;DR or a summary. That way I can decide whether or not to spend a fraction of my life reading a post... :dry.gif:
Yes, they are an egyptian theme. I was planning on having the obelisk look like an Egyptian obelisk as well!
Any suggestions for more enemies?
I request that along with Anubis-like mobs, you base your mobs on other gods, as well, such a Sekhmet, the god of Destruction, or Osiris, the god of the Dead. Oh, and to show the way to the obelisk, you could have a river of some odd substance which shape is similar to the Nile.

Actually, there is a special compass you craft that points towards randomly chosen coordinates that are 5 kilometers away from any already discovered chunks. This is where the obelisk is generated.
I do like your idea of basing more mobs on other Egyptian gods though. Perhaps a cat-like, more powerful to sort of match up with Bastet?
I will also edit the idea for the Fears to have a head similar to one of the Egyptian bird gods/goddesses.
I believe so. About the God Of Destruction, I suggest a lion-like mob that creates explosions that don't destroy blocks every 10 seconds.
Ah, Sekhmet.
Sekhmet is the Goddess of Destruction and Healing. Perhaps, the mob version could have a very high damage attack that destroys some blocks, but heals you completely if you manage to kill it?
It could be some rare, solitary mini-boss type monster!

Are you completely sure you want your structures to be destroyed? I suggest that is doesn't destroy blocks associated with The Fog, and only destroys "earthly" blocks like planks or dirt.
The "Evil" Path is instead of ending the fog, you go to the boss, you either fight, or join it.
If you join, you respawn again with a infi-use tele-block, it teleports you to the boss, which if you join, becomes a ally.
You basicly BECOME the fog, you burn in sunlight and everyone hates you. You become corrupted, your only desire is to corrupt everything else. Oh what pretty diamond ore! MAKE IT CORRUPTION ORE (or whatever) Oh thats a cute baby, MAKE IT A PAIN. Hey nice armor, I KILL YOUR FACE.
Along with becoming evil, you gain, along with the armor. A "Fog Cape" which identies you as a traitor to Minecraftia and a spreader of the fog (Or a hacker)
And if you join the fog, the mobs become less common as much of the fog's power is transferred to you. Normal hostile mobs also attack you, passive mobs now flee on sight, NPCs attack with there weapons, and 2 new mobs spawn.
Knight (or Templar):A NPC that spawns in large amounts 30-40 (or 9-12, whatever) They are no match, even with there iron armor and tools. As the fog, you can spawn small groups of weaker fog beasts, you yourself have 30 HP, the fog spreads where you walk, these armies fall in mere hours of battle, or a few minutes in minecraft.
Refugee: A fleeing civilian, they make good slaves. They can be killed for fun, or like wolves, tamed and either used as a slave to gain blocks faster (Your now a evil second-in-command, HECK TO DOING WORK) or turn it into a powerful fog-beast by killing it after taming it.
Taming is by attacking with the sword you gained from the Obelisk, since it dies in 2 hits, it has low chances, spawns in groups of 6-8, either spawns with nothing, a stone sword, or a bow and arrows. Often spawns with Knight Armies or in camps, which are basicly wool tents.

Oh, and he doesn't SNEAK UP ON YOU AND BLOW UP!!! Says the one who ruins the community.

Well of course it wouldn't destroy Fog-related structures!
As for what blocks it can actually break...
dirt
stone
torches
glowstone
cobblestone
stone bricks/clay bricks
That seems good.

I love your imagination, but I don't like the idea all that much. For one, it wouldn't work at all in SMP. For two, it just seems way overpowered.
100% support.
I will work more on the actual boss, as well as new boss battle tarrain, as the Ender Dragon boss battle has the floating islands realm taken!
A.) more standard enemies.
B.) the boss monster
C.) updating some of the current features of the suggestion to fit in with the hunger system and new animal spawning methods.
I noticed that your mobs are based around an Egyptian theme, or at least around the god Anubis.
DING! We have a winner!

I had actually edited my post while you were posting your reply XD
I realized the Set was incorrect.
But yes, Horus would be a good one to use. That's a falcon head, correct?

That's a bland statement.
I have a suggestion as well.
You can have 2 endings to the Fog.
Good-Return the stuff
Evil-Hell to the others! I want power!
