I think you should like instead of once the item is done cooking it should be like if its lying down. not just like if its there going up and down whats the whole point of it being 3D if it aint like that? And the blocks inside I think would be rather placed on the "floor" like where its placed but not floating like if it was placed but miniaturized and etc. Just subjections.
Please I Beg Of You Update! & Can You Do More Things Instead Of Just A Furance? Like A CraftingTable, And Etc?
Hmm, I have the mod installed for 1.7.2, no crashes or anything, also says it has it installed on my forge mod list, and also have the resource pack for the furnace installed, but there is absolutely no change.
It still looks like a vanilla furnace.
Just to be sure, I turned off all my other resource packs.

This version doesn't replace the vanilla furnace you need to recraft it. I may replace the vanilla furnace again if I can get it working properly.
In fact I may re-upload it later so that you can craft the furnace with the vanilla furnace. So you don't have a bunch of old furnaces lying around if you install it into an existing world.
I have an idea. How about making more things in 3D? Here are some examples: you could make dispensers and droppers in 3D, so you could see through them and see the items inside them all bundled together. You could make hoppers in 3D, so you can see what is inside them too. You could even make chests in 3D and see some of the things inside them (this would be really cool in Multiplayer, so if someone opens a chest, you can see what's inside). These are just some ideas, but I hope you get what I mean.

While it would sound nice... The hopper wouldn't have much of a viewing angle you would only be able to see items looking from the top.
The dispenser doesn't have an open face on it to inside normally so it would require me to make an entirely new block with a window on it.
I am not 100% against either but I won't consider them until I am able to properly replace the vanilla furnace again.
Updated to v1.1
Rendered items in the furnace no longer rotate.
If a block is on top of the furnace the output is rendered in front of the furnace.
Fixed the rendered icon for the furnace in an inventory.
If you are in an existing world you can change your Furnace into a 3D Furnace in the Crafting Grid
Unfortunately as of right now it does not replace the Vanilla Furnace so the server needs it installed. Even when it was working without the server having it installed. It would not show the items inside.

Recently, JackSucksAtMineraft has posted a mod showcase for that mod, and I agree with what he likes and does not like about this mod. It's very cool, but needs a few improvements. Other than that, great mod, clever idea, this gets a 3/5 stars

Checked it out. There is a few reason it doesn't replace the vanilla furnace. Once I get the rendering fixed when replacing the vanilla furnace it will replace it once again. The second issue is that. If you joined a server without the mod you would get the 3D look but items would not render because it would not have the syncing code to keep the items in sync.
I like the idea of placing both smelted items on the inside top sounds like a good idea and will test it out.
How's the render fix going so far? Once it does work, please backport the change to 1.7.2, though once other mods update for 1.7.10 I might just switch over. I'm talking about mods like Growthcraft, Aquaculture etc.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

The code is the exact same for both 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 I just need to build it twice. If I get it fixed it will be for both versions.
Indeed.
I'm just a very boring person.

Am I the only one having the issue where the mod installs just fine but it doesn't work?Sorry, didn't see the answer to my post before

Added ability to trade the 3D Furnace for a Vanilla one for recipes that require it
