I'm not going to be that guy who links you to his youtube channel just to get views and try to be "the next big thing"
So onto the information that I have gathered.
When you start up your world you have the option of 4 world sizes
Large
Medium
Small
Classic
I assume Large will be the 36x the area of a MCXBLA map 4j was talking about. I think Medium will be around 16x the area of a MCXBLA map. Small will probably be around 4x the size of a MCXBLA map. And I believe Classic will be a MCXBLA map.
Ingame the player showed off some new skins included in Skin Pack 6.
We all probably know about the Killer Instinct skins by now, but he also showed off a Horse man in a Suit skin.
He didn't show off much more than that.
The texture packs that were available were: The Candy Texture pack, The City Texture Pack, The Natural Texture pack, the Fantasy Texture Pack, and The Plastic Texture pack.
Ingame maps do not have the update that maps have on pc where they are "smart" and when placed in an item frame, do not fill it up like on Pc.
The game runs the equivelent of TU16.
The gameplay show was likely beta footage and could change before the official release.
I was also watching a Microsoft Twitch stream earlier today and it looks as if the player count for online multiplayer is only eight but 4J could raise it in the future.

After viewing that stream, I'm concerned about how the whole "world transfer" will work. If you notice on the world size settings, it had classic (which I assume is the 360 size). That tells me that we may be able to import our 360 worlds into One, but they won't change size.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be the case. Oh well, I'e started over plenty before.

I believe 4j stated when that when you import your old save you will have the option to increase its size. Certainly I felt this was implicit in the press release announcing it.
I'm now wondering though if once you pick a size for your world, if you can make it larger later. I really doubt you can make yor world smaller though that could lead to some interesting possibilities for later terrain features.

Players with Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition saves will be able to import their worlds to Xbox One. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to transfer saves from Xbox One to Xbox 360. We can make worlds bigger without too much stress, but shrinking them causes all kinds of problems.
To me, that doesn't really say anything about resizing your 360 world on Xbox One Edition. They're only talking about not being able to bring a larger world from One Edition and reduce it's size to work on the 360.

It would extremely easy for them to port saves over and have your world continue generating beyond the confines of what the 360 could achieve. I'm pretty sure that's what they intend to do. There would be little to no point in transferring your worlds if they remained the same limited size.

Not true. Some people just want to keep their creations to show off all their hard work. They may want to just transfer them so they can get rid of their 360.

I feel sorry for anyone who buys the game again to only continue playing the same tiny world when they could now have it expand up to 5184 x 5184 with their original creations intact in the map.
I hope that the videos I already watched are a joke. No hoppers, no redstone blocks, no wither/wither skeleton, comparators, no horses, hardmode, etc...
Seriously the xbox one/ps4 version should come with 1.6 update as a minimum. I hope it will come out with more things than xbox 360 version.
The Xbox One and PS4 versions will be mostly equal in content to TU16 that the 360 and PS3 are currently on. All console versions of the game will then be updated alongside one another.
Things will continue to come out for all versions of Minecraft on the consoles.

They could just keep their 360 for that.
Again, show me a quote stating that you will be able to resize your 360 world. Until I actually hear or read it from 4J, it's all just speculation. I prefer to err on the side of caution when it comes to speculating about this game. There's nothing more dangerous than spewing off your interpretation of what they said, only to find out you were wrong... and end up disappointed and disgruntled because of it.
There is nothing wrong with transferring your creation to the new console. I still own my 360 and it's on it's last leg. If I created something that I'm proud of, I'd love to continue being able to show it off on the new console... especially since I'd be able to instantly stream a tour of my world on Twitch... something not possible on the 360 without exterior hardware.
Those details are pretty irrelevant. The PC and Pocket Editions have two different developers. You can't hold them to the same schedules. Neither the PC or the PE edition have to go through 3rd parties to update.

4J Studios and Mojang are the only two trustworthy sources and I doubt they talked to some random YouTuber and gave out very discreet information.
All of this information is from the Minecraft Xbox One Edition Live stream from the official Xbox twitch account.
That makes it sound like you just listened to some random kid who made a YouTube video claiming he knew things because he was told by 4J.
I meant it like I wasn't going to link you to my youtube channel just so you could hear the information.
Many people have come to these forums and trolled or mislead others by posting lots of false information.
