Ok thank you for the info. But could I ask for the exact numbered version of your driver version and shader core mod please???
Apologies, I only ask as soon many people post that they are running the latest drivers or the correct version of the shader core, but after further questioning we find it's actually not the case at all Sorry.
I'm using ShadersModCore-v2.2.2-mc1.6.4-f965 and the GeForce 337.88 Driver (Latest according to Nvidia Control Panel)
I don't know if you would call this progress, in fact, I think I made things worse. But, I deleted the water files (Both vsh and fsh) Completely. Yet I still get the glitch. This does not happen in any other shader pack.

Yeah, deleting the water configs won't do too much as the water is also covered in multiple config files.
I'm wondering if it could be the double layer causing it: reflections plus the water texture.
Well, I'm using a custom modpack my friends and I use for our own server. Only one of my friends actually uses shaders apart from me and he's not getting the problem I am (He's running an AMD GPU) although he gets a lot worse fps than I do.

Anyway, here's the list of mods I'm using:
Errrm....... "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe" Ok, long shot but what version of Java are you running??? And have you tried a different Resource/Texture Pack, maybe try 2 or 3 different ones???
Because to be honest, I have not seen this issue before or even read about it on this thread or the SEUS Website, and it could be any one of those mods causing the issue, or a combination plus your driver/gfx card..... I wouldn't know where to start, sorry
I have no idea why it's so bright while I was mining...
And sometimes I can see through the ground
I am using GTX 680 video card, and I don't have much mods, I wonder how it happened and what can I do?
thanks!
Hi Tardex, this is not a problem with SEUS or the Shader Core, this is a extremely common problem with OptiFine. It's been answered on this thread hundreds of times and is also clearly stated in the OptiFine description.
You need to Disable "Threaded Optimisation" in your Nvidia CP.
That's it
Alright. I found out why I am getting the bug. The clouds. In preview 1, whenever I enabled volumetric clouds, it gave me the bug. I havn't tested this yet in 10.1, I don't know how :\

Reflections, "Called it" Just messing. It may be case of having to disable all 2D and 3D clouds from 10.1 Final in order for it to work. In case you haven't found how to disable the 2D clouds already, I have a guide to do that in my signature.
I've re-installed java and my gpu's drivers but still no fix.
I've tried every pack, and I've noticed the Legacy versions don't do this but give me a really weird water glitch. Anyway, guess I won't use these shaders. :c

It was a long shot that Java was the culprit. Did you try different Resource Packs (Texture Packs) though, like Chroma Hills SEUS Version???
I'm having the same exact water problem and I've been using shaders that don't have these problems, but then I switch to SEUS and remember how beautiful it looks. Its hard to downgrade to a inferior shader now and because of this, minecraft is becoming alot les enjoyable for me. Also, sonicether, please fix this, I think its a problem with the GTX 750 Ti, here are my specs, if you were wondering:
Intel Core i7 4770 @ 3.40GHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti
16GB 1333MHz RAM
Yes this is an issue only it seems with the 750/Ti. A few Shaders have the water issue and people have reported similar issues with other games as well. So there must be something with the card that doesn't like a certain type of coding or effect.
If you look a few posts above, a member with a 750 figured out what the cause is, it's the cloud. And if you check the next post I replied with how to disable them.

Really? I checked through it and I didn't see it. Or was it titled something different? Cause the way to enable it doesn't work in the current version (or there are different line numbers)

Never mind. I get the bug on preview 1 now. Didn't used to :\
Lol wut??????? I downloaded mrmeeps rc4 and booted it up and then went back to seus, and the glitch doesn't happen except mildly on the held item .______________.
edit: never mind it only happens when holding an item with normalmaps
No, don't let the "1.7.5" mislead you. SEUS is compatible with "Any" version of MC, even 1.7.9 or 1.0.0. It's the version of the Shader Core Mod (GLSL Core) that determines whether it can work. SEUS will always say the latest version it works with based on which version the Shader Core is working on.
Bare with me, I'm going to DL that resource pack and check for the appropriate maps.
How does one enable GLSL for 1.7.9? It doesn't look like it's up to date. Have you found a way around that, or is everyone on this thread playing on 1.7.5?
Ok brilliant. Please let us know if you manage any further improvements as there will be a lot of happy people

Ok thank you. Can you please list what mods you have installed, as there is something interfering with the shader.

I'll have a look to see if I find something.
