Status update:
Still scrubbing the code, about 20% of the way through. This percentage incorporates some new features that i wanted to add before next version as well.
Is there anywhere that lists what the devs are planning for this mod? The truss mod looks like it may be a good replacement, but I was hoping for some native movement even if it was less than a 1000 blocks. I was wondering about some other blocks like deployers and breakers if Project: Red didn't implement frames again.
Open Computers isn't really suitable as it has magical hovering robots. I know Minecraft is boring but I am not sure how not playing the game improves that.
Also, were the devs still interested in reporting sorting system bugs with build 32? I have Galacticraft ores being sorted into a chest with no Galacticraft items in it.
I hope optimisation is on the cards, this ate an epic amount of memory when I tested it.
What version of Project Red are you using? Because I know a memory leak was fixed in build #29 an subsequently a cpu fix in #30.
There should not be any significant memory issues with #29 and beyond.
When downloading your mod (forge multi part) there are no recepies for all of the micro blocks.
I dont know if I need to download anything special for that but I think its a bug so I am reporting it,

He didnt make forge multipart, Chickenbones did. ProjectRed simply uses the library. As i recall Vanilla blocks are automatically included in multiparts, but other mods need to add their blocks to the whitelist, or you need to add them manually if they dont

But i'm currently unable to make the transportation pipe work with the Block Breaker of Minefactory Reloaded. I'm trying to extract the collected blocks and its not working. I simply linked a block breaker to a chest and i placed an extractor chip on the interface pipe of the Block Breaker and a responder chip for the chest. Unfortunately, the collected block stay stock in the Block Breaker. The exact same setup works perfectly for a chest-to-chest configuration. I even tried to simulate the extraction on all possible sides without success.
I do not think that this is a normal behavior but if it is, please tell me a workaround or something.
cool news tjp. take your time. we all know eta is only a goal you set to aim for and it usually takes longer. I am all happy to see this mod soon in my 1.7.2 world. tyvm for your work!
Slow but steady progress, about 40% of the way through..
I know its taking longer then expected, but thats why no one likes to give ETAs.
Awesome, looking forward to 1.7.X versions of the mod!
Any chance in the move to 1.7 that compatibility with ShadersMod will be restored (the lighting bug where the whole screen goes dark for some reason). Any version newer than 4.2.1.16 has the issue..
Everything that changed again in 1.7, with mod loading, texture loading, and everything -- hopefully the fix will come on its own :P!
Great work so far, glad to see you're back in action!

Don't worry about it. A lot (most?) of us understands this and just appreciate your effort.
Can't wait though
And I can't help you unless you post in detail what is wrong. If the game crashed, you need to post the crash log.
Oh come on! He just has to open that file and change 180 to to correct number.
