Flowstone Energy is a mod based around machines, power, and burning all that excess glowstone from quarrying the nether (wait I'm not the only one that does that right? RIGHT?!?!?!) anyways, this mod adds a bunch of machines that help with ore doubling, wood processing, and much more! The mod is still alpha, but so much has been added already! Take a look for yourself!
Blocks:
Machines:
Machine Workbench:
This block is the first machine you need to make, it makes all the other machines.
Energized Ore Tumbler:
This is the ore doubling machine, put in an ore and most likely, two dusts will come out.
Heated Oven:
Furnace, DUH.
Flowstone Bottler:
This is the machine that charges all the items, giving them energy, things that work in it: the armor, the pneumatic flow wrench and the batteries.
Metal Mixer:
If I need to tell you what this does I am disappointed in you player, what is created in here: Invar and Electrum (at the moment).
Item Liquifier:
This well… liquefy items, making them into liquid form [WIP].
Liquid Infuser:
Puts liquids into buckets…
Auto Crafter:
Automatically crafts things.
Machine Box:
Is the basis block of all machines… also has connected textures… why you ask? Because I can that’s why.
Upgrades:
Upgrade Blocks:
Put these blocks inside a multi block machine you have created to alter the way the machine works.
Speed Upgrade:
Makes the machine run faster.
Item Capacity Upgrade:
Allows a bigger buffer of the machines.
Energy Capacity Upgrade:
Makes the machine store more energy.
Energy Efficiency Upgrade:
This block makes each processing task cost less energy.
Process Amount Upgrade:
This one adds a new input slot into the gui dependent on how many of these you have in the machine. Buff stacks to 4 input slots total.
Creative Upgrade:
Put this in to make the machine have maximum buff of all upgrades
Ores:
Storage Blocks:
Decorative:
Strong Glass + Pane:
You don’t know how to use glass? REALLY? Why are you in modding? Side Note: the glass blocks have connected textures.
Aplite:
It looks pretty… that’s PRETTY much all it does –facepalms at bad dad joke-.
Items:
Items:
Flowwrench:
the basic wrench used to dismantle and manipulate the flowstone machines.
Pneumatic Flowwrench:
the electric version of the flowwrench, it also has an omniwrench ability, but this only works if you add the other mods wrench to it in the Machine Workbench.
Flowstone Manual:
has all the information on all the items and blocks in game. I couldn't be bothered to write out a list of what all the items do, so please just go look in here.
Armor:
Flow Armor:
This armor projects a field around the player known as a Flowfield, but only when it is powered, it provides the same amount of protection as diamond, but lasts longer and let’s be honest, looks cooler.
Note: All information you need is in the Flowstone Manual. If there is anything you miss in there please leave a message which contains what you miss.

Mind if I do a Mod Review and post it here? I'm also a mod developer myself and am currently working on a mod... but ssshhh dont tell no one so if you'd like some help PM me on here or hit me up on skype
Thank you Zandorum, and master, its modeled after TE but is all my own code, and a lot of my ideas, yes, I will give you it does look like TE, but it is my own mod with my own power system

We add our own power system called Flowstone Energy (hence the name)
So... Thermal Expansion with CoFH-Core combined? Again, not trying to start a flame war. Just proving my point.

Ok, let me clear this up, my mod is INSPIRED by TE, that's what I should have said in the first place, and when someone is making a tech mod its VERY VERY hard NOT to do something that has already been done by someone else. Tech mods are VERY limited and VERY hard to come up with an original idea for. We are not in anyway intending to copy TE, or combine TE with COFH, we are just making a mod that looks like TE and pretty much 50% of other tech mods out there

Sorry for the confusion. Have a nice day
Thanks, you too. I'm actually working on a small tech mod too, believe it or not...
Two things: One, there is no information in the top post, just pictures. Pictures are great, but you leave with no idea of what the blocks and items are and what they do. Second, from what I can see (like I said, you did not provide much information) this doesn't seem very original. Are there any machines that aren't in any other tech mod? This is the stereotypical tech mod right here. With tech mods these days, if you're not willing to go big, make it an add-on. Add a glowstone generator which can generate energy for some existing tech mod, and maybe if you have one machine that is original throw that in too. I understand this is WIP, so I don't doubt you will add more, hopefully original, content. I am just saying, as of right now, this is a pretty useless mod, and if your eventual plans aren't too big, try making it an add-on.
as of this moment, in the version you cannot see, (I am going to update the forum after this) There is things that don't make it so generic, I have plans for multimachines, meaning variable sized multiblocks, that have upgrade blocks which you place inside the multiblock structure that change the way the machine operates, eg, the process amount upgrade changes the block so that it will be able to process more than 1 item at a time, all the way up to 4 items at one time, for every two blocks you add, you get 1 slot.
ATM, the machines are very generic, but I was just playing with machine ideas, I am currently working on making not-so-generic machine ideas, any suggestions would be greatly appriciated
Now that I can see some of the stuff in the mod from the original post, this looks pretty cool. I like the whole multi block upgrade idea. But where is the download?
The mod is still WIP and isn't ready for a release, like the dev version still is waiting on power (we have two separate teams working on different things and they are yet to come together)

Thanks,

CoFH don't have a patent on smooth textures and small Tech Mods.
True. But still...
Dont cha' know? Bacon is the current craze homie.

Also, you might want to redo the screenshots. It's not very professional-looking, to have the taskbar & window in the screenshots
