Requesting an update to the rules on the first post/server (?):
(Some of these questions may seem dumb or nitpicky but better safe than sorry. I don't know who would like to abuse nor who would like to be wrongly jailed.)
- Guards cannot call for swords in plots unless said defendant was striking the guards from within the plots.
(As stated by Noakii)
I would like to ask for clarification as to what happens if:
-Does it apply to all contraband or only swords?
-What about charged bows?
- If bows cannot be called while the defendant is on a plot, would the "bow jumping" thing (I do not know what the proper name is) be allowed as long as the defendant is on the plot?
-What if the defendant was on the "Lawn" of their plot or the "roof" of their plot?
-What if the defendant was a member of another plot?
-Would guards be allowed to call for swords if a non-member walks onto the "lawn" or "roof" of someone else's plot?
And would an alpha/warden kindly clarify this as well:
- Glitching in plot = no no.
(ie. A plot has glass panes/blocks and someone who is not the member/owner breaks them to punch you.)
I would like to know what punishment (or if there are any) would this constitute as?
- Contraband in the playermarket
-Some guards jail for swords/contraband in the playermarket. Would a warden/alpha clarify this rule as to:
- What if the defendant was selling the contraband via shop? Via Player?
- What if the defendant was afk and someone tossed a contraband on the defendant and the defendant is afk holding the contraband?

4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules? I have read the guard and prison rules over and over again. Ive memorized them completley.
5) Any experience with the prison genre? I do have alot of prison genre experience, not only because I have been playing on baines for over a year, but also because I have played on a few other servers in the past. (although none have been as good as baines )
6) What is your time zone? mountain time. I am able to be on from 4-9 pm on weekdays and ill be on an awful lot on weekends.
7) Why are you the best choice for guard?
I dont think that I am BEST for guard, but i definatley think that i would be a very good candidate to be one.
I would be a very good guard, because I would never abuse my power. I would use my power as a guard for good, to protect the innocent from PVP. I would not just free kill anyone, I would only kill them if I had proof, or saw them with my own eyes pvp-ing. If i saw someone with a contraband item (sugarcane {weed}, any type of sword, mushrooms {shrooms, narcotics} ect.), I would not kill them on sight, but count down from 5 until they give me the item, if they still had the item after my countdown, I would kill them (if in a pvp zone), or jail them for 10 minutes for not giving up contraband items. I understand that I would have to kill anyone I see hitting me or any other player, even if they are my friend, because they are breaking the rules and as a guard I must do my job and kill them or jail them. I am not someone who is easily angered, so I would never rage and take it out on players. If someone were to kill me, I would not respawn and kill them as revenge. I am very good at PVP, and can usually, if not always, kill an attacker before they hurt any innocent players.

I am a very trustworthy person, and you may always rely on me to not abuse my powers, or kill when it is not appropriate. I want to be the kind of guard that everyone can trust, and to be the guard who is there for all the players, and all the players can count on.
As a guard, rascisim, spamming, and rude comments would never be allowed or appreciated. I dont like when people are rude or mean to others, and would politley ask them to stop.
Also, greifing and greifers, are not tolerated. They will be punished for greifing. They know that greifing is bad, there are signs everywhere and it is common knowledge that it is bad and consequences will be made if greifing is done. "I didnt know" is not a excuse.
Hackers are a definate pet peeve of mine, They are cheating, making the game less fun for everyone else. Also, Baines is a role-playing server, meaning that in prison, you couldnt cheat if you tried, so why do it in a minecraft prison? Hackers deserve to be banned because they are making the game harder for the other players, and my job as a guard would be to make the players have a more enjoyable stay at baines penitentary.

I have my own server, But if I get accepted my server will become a thing of the past. I will do anything and everything that is needed of me.. You will never catch me doing what I am not supposed to be doing or breaking the rules.
I have read the general rules for Baines over and over again, i know them by heart. I have the guard rules memorized just as well, so I would never make a mistake and do the wrong thing.

3) How long have you been playing the server? (Minimum of 3 days) 3 weeks and 4 days now. I am definitely enjoying the server, and I am making it the best of what I can, to the full extent.
4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules? Of course! I would not get accepted, and I probably would not have any recommendations whatsoever, if I had not.
5) Any experience with the prison genre? Yes, I am currently Sr Guard on Carcere Correctional Prison ( as ChatMod was removed as a rank), I am Officer on Broncin City, and I was present in the construction and I have had LOTS of experience over other servers like Trapped Prison, Hard Labour Prison, and Prison Mode Engage! I have received staff on all of these servers, and I also got to the prestigious rank of Warden on Hard Labour Prison.
6) What is your time zone? My time zone is GMT.
7) Why are you the best choice for guard? I am a very trustworthy and honest individual. I welcome all new players on the server warmly and congratulate each one when they reach an important server milestone. I feel like this is extremely important because the newer players MUST feel welcome to be able to continue playing, and then when someone, like myself, congratulates them when, for example they rank up, it makes them feel elated and want to play even more. I am also very respectful to the server Owners, Managers, Wardens, Guards and anyone of higher rank than I. This is important because if I did not I would be disliked, and there would be no point in me trying to gain Trainee, if no one would want me to. I also respect my fellow peers on the server. If I did not do this, it would probably generate hate against me, and I don’t want that, so I do respect my peers.
I also remain neutral in arguments and try not to side with people as best I can. If I did not do this, people would dislike me for siding, or ganging up on that, I don’t like being annoyed, and I myself do not like when people agree with each other, just because they are friends. Due to my experiences as moderator on other servers I am very good at dealing with things such as hackers, abusers, and glitchers. For example, I was playing on a server which I am Administrator upon, and I was in vanish, just casually checking up on the players as you do. I teleported to this one guy who seemed to be mining a little too fast, and in about ten minutes, he has around 30 diamonds, and 12 stacks of cobble. I recorded this, and immediately banned. Finally, I am very loyal and dedicated to this server. I log on every day for several hours at a time. (However, despite a medical condition I have, I may not be able to be on as much as I would like). I tend to go to places a lot, in which I spend a few hours there, while I’d rather be playing here. Also, I log on at nights to chat and to get to know other players. This is good because I get involved in the community, and I can keep up to date; on what is occurring, and what is yet to happen.
I also know when the server's high and low points are. This allows me to determine when I should be most needed. (I am not really that needed at this moment in time, but if I became Trainee, I would definitely be in needed of). I also have a separate Skype account for my Minecraft friends who need to talk to me. I am good at PvP so I can deal with a lot of people, as I find there are a lot of newer people who really do need assistance, whether it be escorting, or protection, I will help them out as a Trainee should, and I am very friendly. I am well liked on the server and I have never had trouble with anyone! A lot of people will not really know me, but I have spoken to all of the regulars! I am a really huge fan of prison servers; I play on them the most out of all the genres. I have had lots of experience with them and I know exactly how things work within them. I know all the rules off by heart, I know exactly what is allowed, what kind of punishment / jail matches with each contraband / crime. This should be vital to an aspiring Trainee, because they need to know what to do in times of peril, and when they are put under stress. I have seen a Guard leave the game, because he was getting absolutely battered by all the Donors and Frees. Even though you may get angry and being killed all the time, you must continue with your job. This is what I promise to do.
I know the cheap, common tricks that the prisoners try to pull on guards and I know exactly what to expect from them if I were to become a Trainee. I find PvP fun, I am eager to do it, but at a restrained extent. I have killed people with full diamond before with ease, I am very tactical with PvP and I know all the tricks that you can dispense. For example, you can jump around the person, causing critical hits, and they have to swivel to face you, which makes it hard for them to hit. Also, you can spam both the attack button and the block button at the same time, even though this does restrict movement, it reduces the amount of damage taken, I am a big fan of the server and likely to stay with it for a very long time until I (if ever) move on. I have got to know the players and the server layout very well indeed.
I am familiar with the ergonomics such as money required for ranks so I can easily help out new people. I am very dedicated and if I were to become Guard I would allow many hours a day for this server to enforce rules. Because often there are no guards on and people dominate the area by ganking people.
I aspire to become Trainee, because I find that being Free can become dull at times, and I really would love to help out around on the server. I am currently planning to a trailer video for the server, and I am preparing it, and it should be complete by today, if I could get /vanish or /god, so I don’t get killed while recording. But those commands don’t really matter. I am going to start a series on my YouTube channel (VertueGaming) which I am going to call, Life in a Prison – Convicted. I will post links on the forums whenever I finish editing a video, and uploaded.
I am really liked on the server, and never had a heated argument or a dispute. This I think improves my chances of people recommending me, and I really hope I can become Trainee with Hassi, because he is an extremely nice person, and he deserves it fully. I think we would be great Guard buddies, because we can help each other out, and we can both be great, because I think there is no I in Guard, or in Staff. Being together and helping each other out is vital for guards, because if one makes a mistake, another could help him out, and correct it for him. This is why I find the current guard team very good indeed, because they do just that. I think selecting two Trainees would be excellent, as we can both learn together, and both do exactly as written above.

EXTRA INFO: I am a 14 year old boy and I spend quite a lot of time on the server. I have quite a few hobbies, which include Warhammer 40k, Minecraft, Halo 4, and (General Gaming).
I also take part in an organization called Air Cadets. This gives me a great sense of responsibility, and independence. Air Cadets do loads of activities, and this means that I can do things that usually no other 14 year old will, or ever do. For example, I have recently been flying, in a powered Glider (The Viking Mk2) I took control of this wonderful little plane, and even though I was nervous, and it was hard, I enjoyed it greatly. So now I can say I learned to fly a plane before I could drive. I have taken part in overseas camps, and they offer a great variety of things to do, from tactical combat training, to shooting standard issue weapons from the MoD ( L98 .40 bore). This is extremely fun, and makes to a great person at the end of all this. Also, I can take BTECs, which count for 3 full pass GCSE exams. These help me through life and will offer me a free place at University in exchange for 3 years in service to the RAF.
I also have a four year experience with Warhammer, and I am an experienced modeler and painter. I have won competitions, and I will continue to strive and win the prestigious Golden Daemon award.

[7] I believe i'm a fantastic choice for a guard for multiple reasons. I've never broke the server rules, and i understand how the guard system works for the server, and any other Prison server. I came here because i wanted to experience an active Minecraft Prison server and all of its opportunities that it has to offer. I have experienced Faction servers and Towny servers. On Prison servers i have been the prisoner and worked my way up through the prison ranks, I feel that i could operate as a guard perfectly and ensure that the players experience a Simulated Prison server, and have fun at the same time. I understand the abilities the rank will offer, as i have talked with Alpha Guards on the server Team speak. I have been a MOD on the Faction server of Elite Realms and i'm an Admin on The towny server known as Super Earth. Since playing on this server, i have found myself amazed at how unique the setting of the server brings to a game I've been playing for several years. Its a breath of fresh air to break away from the normal every day minecraft servers. I love the idea of Mining and working to earn money and gain your freedom. And being an A-Block Prison on the server, i can fully understand the aspect and unique experience the server is promoting. Since talking to other guards on the Servers Team Speak, by them telling me there every day to day duties and by reading the guard rules. From previous server experience i know for sure that i would not have a problem with the task that i would be required to carry out every day. Being a MOD and an ADMIN, i know what to look for in hacks, and how to detect them, either in a mine or in PVP, and i believe i would have no problem in that area of discernment.
By playing so many different servers since i started on Mine Craft, I've become particular about what servers i stay on, and this server brings something incredibly different to the rest of the Mine Craft Community. The idea of prisoner/ guard roles is new and exciting, and every prison server i have been on is always different in there execution of that idea. This server has perfected that idea. and by playing on many faction servers, I have no real reason to obtain Freedom on the game, Being A-Block Rank, im currently trying to rank to E-Block, and i tend to stay there...Unless i am picked to become a Trainee guard. Becoming a guard would be my last goal on the server. I love the idea that the Guard staff acts as a team, and not on there own, and i believe i would become a great addition to that team. I would absolutely never abuse my power or look with a blind eye, if i see proof of an infraction, i will be quick to the reaction to that infraction. I believe by reading the Guard rules multiple times, i feel that i know them like the back of my hand, and should be mistake free in my duty as a guard. My whole reason for being on any server is to assist the players, and as I do it already on the server, being a guard i would be in a better position to extend that help to everyone.
Before i became a MOD on the Faction server Elite Realms, I owned a faction by the name of Federation, Our faction in the span of 6 months had obtained full control over the faction population. My PVP experience is quite good, ive mostly played on PVP/ Faction servers for 2 and a half years. PVP in general is where my expertise comes in handy on the game, Building is a close second. Playing on many Towny servers i can build quite good when needed. That includes other games as well. [WoW, Block Empires, MAD pvp, Liberty PVP and Valor MC] This is a little history of my PVP and other experience on minecraft. Playing PVP is the base core of minecraft in my opinion. I know how to deal the most damage to anyone in PVP by doing critical hits.
My public relations is good on the server, I am always answering questions that any new player brings up [If i catch it]. I have spent quite a lot of time on the server since i came here. I have not spoken rudely to anyone in chat, also i'm always on TS3 talking with the server population. Having been a MOD and still an ADMIN, i'm extremely familiar with the idea of keeping the peace to insure the stability of the server and the peace and enjoyment for the rest of the players. I understand the rules that a guard has to also follow with the position he is given, and i believe i would be able to apply them to the server accurately and when they are needed. Since i have been playing on the server, i have been addicted to the experience that it brings to me, and I've enjoyed every bit of it. I love the idea that a guard had protect the prisoners and insure there safety, also i have seen guard neglect there duty on the server since being on it, and know i would have no problem enacting the rules and upholding them. I loved that when i came to the server several guards and players took the time to show me around C-Block and explain how things operated on this server. One being SDAngel. Since then i have tryed to do the same, always welcoming members and congratulating anyone on a rank up in the system. Having playing on many Faction servers, i really do not find anything worth while in the idea of obtaining Freedom on the server, I can go to any server to play factions. This server brings something unique to the table, and becoming a guard is the ultimate goal for me. I feel with my experience on Minecraft and experience in staff positions, i know with out a doubt i could become a perfect example of how a Guard is supposed to act and behave.

I got B0mbs recommendation, but Noakii says that Alpha recommendations are not like auto promotions, i ask him nicely, but Noakii hates me for some reason. D: It sucks.
He does not hate you. An alpha has to tell him in game that they reccomended you. Otherwise people could edit photos and stuff and get promoted.

Also the only servers I play on are Prison Servers and Faction/PvP Servers. PvP helps a lot in being a guard, when needed to take care of players with weapons, drugs, and negative potions. I have also played on Mumau's Prison Server and obtained the A-Block.

He does not hate you. An alpha has to tell him in game that they reccomended you. Otherwise people could edit photos and stuff and get promoted.

Why you deserve to be unbanned: I was wrongfully banned she banned me because I was fighting but she thought I had Aimbot. My friend got banned by her a few minutes before I did I fought her then after she killed me she said Nice aimbot and she banned me. She had no proof that I had Aimbot. I feel i should get unbanned because I don't know how to install mods.
Any additional information: I operate on a IMAC and I don't know how to install mods.
(Some of these questions may seem dumb or nitpicky but better safe than sorry. I don't know who would like to abuse nor who would like to be wrongly jailed.)
- Guards cannot call for swords in plots unless said defendant was striking the guards from within the plots.

I would like to ask for clarification as to what happens if:
-Does it apply to all contraband or only swords?
-What about charged bows?
- If bows cannot be called while the defendant is on a plot, would the "bow jumping" thing (I do not know what the proper name is) be allowed as long as the defendant is on the plot?
-What if the defendant was on the "Lawn" of their plot or the "roof" of their plot?
-What if the defendant was a member of another plot?
-Would guards be allowed to call for swords if a non-member walks onto the "lawn" or "roof" of someone else's plot?
And would an alpha/warden kindly clarify this as well:
- Glitching in plot = no no.
(ie. A plot has glass panes/blocks and someone who is not the member/owner breaks them to punch you.)
I would like to know what punishment (or if there are any) would this constitute as?
- Contraband in the playermarket
-Some guards jail for swords/contraband in the playermarket. Would a warden/alpha clarify this rule as to:
- What if the defendant was selling the contraband via shop? Via Player?
- What if the defendant was afk and someone tossed a contraband on the defendant and the defendant is afk holding the contraband?

4) Have you read the Server, Prison, and Guard Rules? I have read the guard and prison rules over and over again. Ive memorized them completley.
5) Any experience with the prison genre? I do have alot of prison genre experience, not only because I have been playing on baines for over a year, but also because I have played on a few other servers in the past. (although none have been as good as baines )
6) What is your time zone? mountain time. I am able to be on from 4-9 pm on weekdays and ill be on an awful lot on weekends.
7) Why are you the best choice for guard?
I dont think that I am BEST for guard, but i definatley think that i would be a very good candidate to be one.
I would be a very good guard, because I would never abuse my power. I would use my power as a guard for good, to protect the innocent from PVP. I would not just free kill anyone, I would only kill them if I had proof, or saw them with my own eyes pvp-ing. If i saw someone with a contraband item (sugarcane {weed}, any type of sword, mushrooms {shrooms, narcotics} ect.), I would not kill them on sight, but count down from 5 until they give me the item, if they still had the item after my countdown, I would kill them (if in a pvp zone), or jail them for 10 minutes for not giving up contraband items. I understand that I would have to kill anyone I see hitting me or any other player, even if they are my friend, because they are breaking the rules and as a guard I must do my job and kill them or jail them. I am not someone who is easily angered, so I would never rage and take it out on players. If someone were to kill me, I would not respawn and kill them as revenge. I am very good at PVP, and can usually, if not always, kill an attacker before they hurt any innocent players.

I am a very trustworthy person, and you may always rely on me to not abuse my powers, or kill when it is not appropriate. I want to be the kind of guard that everyone can trust, and to be the guard who is there for all the players, and all the players can count on.
As a guard, rascisim, spamming, and rude comments would never be allowed or appreciated. I dont like when people are rude or mean to others, and would politley ask them to stop.
Also, greifing and greifers, are not tolerated. They will be punished for greifing. They know that greifing is bad, there are signs everywhere and it is common knowledge that it is bad and consequences will be made if greifing is done. "I didnt know" is not a excuse.
Hackers are a definate pet peeve of mine, They are cheating, making the game less fun for everyone else. Also, Baines is a role-playing server, meaning that in prison, you couldnt cheat if you tried, so why do it in a minecraft prison? Hackers deserve to be banned because they are making the game harder for the other players, and my job as a guard would be to make the players have a more enjoyable stay at baines penitentary.

I have my own server, But if I get accepted my server will become a thing of the past. I will do anything and everything that is needed of me.. You will never catch me doing what I am not supposed to be doing or breaking the rules.
I have read the general rules for Baines over and over again, i know them by heart. I have the guard rules memorized just as well, so I would never make a mistake and do the wrong thing.

[7] I believe i'm a fantastic choice for a guard for multiple reasons. I've never broke the server rules, and i understand how the guard system works for the server, and any other Prison server. I came here because i wanted to experience an active Minecraft Prison server and all of its opportunities that it has to offer. I have experienced Faction servers and Towny servers. On Prison servers i have been the prisoner and worked my way up through the prison ranks, I feel that i could operate as a guard perfectly and ensure that the players experience a Simulated Prison server, and have fun at the same time. I understand the abilities the rank will offer, as i have talked with Alpha Guards on the server Team speak. I have been a MOD on the Faction server of Elite Realms and i'm an Admin on The towny server known as Super Earth. Since playing on this server, i have found myself amazed at how unique the setting of the server brings to a game I've been playing for several years. Its a breath of fresh air to break away from the normal every day minecraft servers. I love the idea of Mining and working to earn money and gain your freedom. And being an A-Block Prison on the server, i can fully understand the aspect and unique experience the server is promoting. Since talking to other guards on the Servers Team Speak, by them telling me there every day to day duties and by reading the guard rules. From previous server experience i know for sure that i would not have a problem with the task that i would be required to carry out every day. Being a MOD and an ADMIN, i know what to look for in hacks, and how to detect them, either in a mine or in PVP, and i believe i would have no problem in that area of discernment.
By playing so many different servers since i started on Mine Craft, I've become particular about what servers i stay on, and this server brings something incredibly different to the rest of the Mine Craft Community. The idea of prisoner/ guard roles is new and exciting, and every prison server i have been on is always different in there execution of that idea. This server has perfected that idea. and by playing on many faction servers, I have no real reason to obtain Freedom on the game, Being A-Block Rank, im currently trying to rank to E-Block, and i tend to stay there...Unless i am picked to become a Trainee guard. Becoming a guard would be my last goal on the server. I love the idea that the Guard staff acts as a team, and not on there own, and i believe i would become a great addition to that team. I would absolutely never abuse my power or look with a blind eye, if i see proof of an infraction, i will be quick to the reaction to that infraction. I believe by reading the Guard rules multiple times, i feel that i know them like the back of my hand, and should be mistake free in my duty as a guard. My whole reason for being on any server is to assist the players, and as I do it already on the server, being a guard i would be in a better position to extend that help to everyone.
Before i became a MOD on the Faction server Elite Realms, I owned a faction by the name of Federation, Our faction in the span of 6 months had obtained full control over the faction population. My PVP experience is quite good, ive mostly played on PVP/ Faction servers for 2 and a half years. PVP in general is where my expertise comes in handy on the game, Building is a close second. Playing on many Towny servers i can build quite good when needed. That includes other games as well. [WoW, Block Empires, MAD pvp, Liberty PVP and Valor MC] This is a little history of my PVP and other experience on minecraft. Playing PVP is the base core of minecraft in my opinion. I know how to deal the most damage to anyone in PVP by doing critical hits.
My public relations is good on the server, I am always answering questions that any new player brings up [If i catch it]. I have spent quite a lot of time on the server since i came here. I have not spoken rudely to anyone in chat, also i'm always on TS3 talking with the server population. Having been a MOD and still an ADMIN, i'm extremely familiar with the idea of keeping the peace to insure the stability of the server and the peace and enjoyment for the rest of the players. I understand the rules that a guard has to also follow with the position he is given, and i believe i would be able to apply them to the server accurately and when they are needed. Since i have been playing on the server, i have been addicted to the experience that it brings to me, and I've enjoyed every bit of it. I love the idea that a guard had protect the prisoners and insure there safety, also i have seen guard neglect there duty on the server since being on it, and know i would have no problem enacting the rules and upholding them. I loved that when i came to the server several guards and players took the time to show me around C-Block and explain how things operated on this server. One being SDAngel. Since then i have tryed to do the same, always welcoming members and congratulating anyone on a rank up in the system. Having playing on many Faction servers, i really do not find anything worth while in the idea of obtaining Freedom on the server, I can go to any server to play factions. This server brings something unique to the table, and becoming a guard is the ultimate goal for me. I feel with my experience on Minecraft and experience in staff positions, i know with out a doubt i could become a perfect example of how a Guard is supposed to act and behave.

I know for a fact i am the best choice for guard because when i get something new to do i am extremely dedicated to completing my goals. i also used to be a admin for a very sucessful prison server, the only reason i changed was the owner was really abusive with his power and would always ban people for no reason what so ever. i am also very good a Minecraft pvp and i like getting roles where i would have to protect somebody on a common basis. I love to help people and to contribute to a server that i am very loyal to, i spent 90% of my time on Minecraft playing on Bains Penitentiary. also i am very good at memorizing rules because i was top admin on that server.
