Maybe have wind for taiga/snow biomes, because that's the only thing that could possibly fit for it. I've been in a forest in the winter and when you're away from civilization, there are no noises. You can even hear the snow hit the ground.
Sounds good.
Wind would also be good on top of Extreme Hills biomes. Having been near the top of a decently sized mountain, it's ridiculously windy up there in real life.

I rest my case on adding wind to Extreme Hills.
Maybe Taigas amd the like could have less wind that is more frequent during snow storms....
Eh, sad this topic died, especially with 100% support. ._.
That it did. I guess when everyone unanimously agrees with the idea, there isn't much else to do lol Oh well. If it dies it dies. Just means it might be harder for 4J to see it if they go looking for possible ideas.
This would be excellent! I have the ingame music muted almost always. Ecxept when I'm in the nether, where its worth having at 15% or so and the sound fx remain a constant 80%, except when I'm in the nether because ghasts are way, way too loud.
Any sound other than the footsteps and blocks/items would be great.

Yes ghosts are too loud.
It's not scary anymore, it's just death to your ears.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
Apparently BloodyPhoenix does... or at least when he's looking for a new avatar.
OT: I think one of us should tweet 4j about this. As far as I've seen, the only ideas on here that were implemented into the game were also tweeted to 4j, and they acknowledged it on Twitter before the updates that contained them (I'm thinking of when the guy wanted glowstone dust to drop from Zombie Pigmen and 4j decided to have it drop from Blazes instead, as well as the Nether reset option). Since twitter is more direct, and they obviously go through at least some of the tweets sometimes (as shown by the fact that they reply to some of them), then it feels like we'd have a better chance doing that. I'd do it myself but I don't have Twitter.
Free MS points for using bing?
How much are they paying you per search?
You earn Bing points for searches. You can earn around 15 or so a day. 100msp costs you 125 bing credits, 400msp costs you 500 bing credits, and a month of xbox live costs you 699 or something.

Bing credits?
I just realised my neck is very sore and there's been a rock on my head for quite a while.
Is this for searching non stop for a whole day or just a couple times and you get rewarded at the end of the day?

You get 1 Bing Credit for 2 searches. As soon as you do 2 searches, you get a credit. So all in all, you just need to do 30 searches every day and get 15 Bing Credits.

There isn't even 30 things I'm interested in

Which is why you should rig a rapid-pulsing circuit to mutiple Ghast-filled dispensers buried in the ground.

I like your new avatar btw Phoenix.
Oh, so my character in a maid suit got boring? .n.
This is what I found far down under a Bing search of "Red Chocobo."
Not exactly what I want, but meh, close enough. o^o

I use Bing searches for free Microsoft Points.
I won't argue with that logic.
