I have a feeling that 4J isn't going to be adding command blocks, but it is a sort of must for redstoners and map makers. Basically a command block puts commands into the game when a redstone signal hits it. 4J can make a simple interface for this so we can just pick the command by just scroll to the one we want. Also, we don't need all the commands PC has just a few for simple things like teleporting players, saying messages, and giving players items.
Yeah I think they won't add them either, that is why i'm making this thread because some of us really need them for map making. It's kinda dumb that you need a tube to take you to a map or use nether porters.
to get it work we would have to use c# commands in the block and they are different like on the pc and i think no one except a few people would get it how it works but a block with all possible commands in it where you can select one would be possible
If they did add them, I would barely ever use them. Even when I did, it would just be used to set the time of day on my Creative worlds so I can just skip night without sleeping.
If they didn't add them, I wouldn't be missing anything as I don't make adventure maps or anything else that would remotely require any sort of command block interface.
I would like to see map sharing and at that point I would like command blocks. They could make it so when you press left trigger on it you can press a button on the controller for a command in the command block and if you want more just press more buttons on the controller. As for typing in other things like tp's and give with a amount the player could type it in.

I hope that they delete this thread again. You can't seem to learn to post in the right place.
And now we come to you...
Okay, let me explain this to you.
This isn't posted in the right place because this thread was created BEFORE the new subsections were created. Also, what do you mean "I hope they delete this thread again"? Obviously if this was deleted in the past it would not be here, and you wouldn't be commenting on it. Until you have positive feedback, don't reply to any of my threads. Thanks.
You shouldn't have to type it, it would take way too long (commands).
If they do, then you should have a presets menu and you just have to click on a button for it to fill out.
Command Block is for map-makers. We can't use maps on MC:X360 unless we download and port it. No.

Yeah I was thinking that also, and also there are still stones of map makers whether we have a normal why of doing it or not. Which means they still come in use. Also, not sure what you are saying "no" to?
I don't want Command Blocks.
If they WERE added, then that's the way I'd prefer it.
Oh I understand now sorry.
I'm okay with you not wanting them as many people don't. (considering they don't make maps or don't know what it is)
But thanks for the feedback

What are your opions on Command Blocks?
Just my opinion though.
^ ^
its as powerful as him

I don't really see why?
Yeah that what I was thinking
Yeah like I said, it's a must for redstoners:p
Why is this? You have nothing to lose?

This is one of the exact reasons I want them. Teleporting. The other is simply to give players items that can't be dispensed such as splash potions
Yeah I was thinking something like this

EDIT: oops someone already said this...
Anyhoof, I would like them, too, since I am a map maker and my first map would really like the timeset command....
Stay fluffy~
Yeah that is another huge reason I want them
They could always add both in an update but idk
If they do, then you should have a presets menu and you just have to click on a button for it to fill out.

Yeah I completely agree!
