sorry, but this is not the best. Pixel art is horrible in cities, Your buildings arent very good, and you need to learn how to take screen shots, sorry but the world is bad.
It's just a little criticism to make you reevaluate your build choices and have you mature as a builder in MC. He does have a point, your buildings are very dull, there's little to no cohesion of the building style, and to be honest, most of those things that could be considered "good" are jammed into a space occupied by many other things, and they barely stand out. It can be a good map, you just need to go back and add a little variety to your buildings, mix up the material in certain structures (like mix up the building materials used in the residential area in picture 9) because while most neighborhoods in the cities/suburbs have almost the exact same style, they always change the paint of them, and since we can't pain our blocks in MC, just try using different materials, and don't be afraid to use more than one block type when doing the same house either, it adds contrast and a unique flair to each house and prevents the other person from getting bored looking at it.
that being said, your city does have potential, you just need to relax, take advice, and maybe move your pixel art to another section of your map, away from the city (or dedicate a superflat world to it), because unless you make the pixel art very very large, you can never get enough detail in it to make it look good... I mean this guy has a spuerflat world dedicated to pixel art, and probably most of those (the higher res ones, like the punch out characters) are nearing the build height limit.
The only thing that really looks off to me though is the housing district. Like the others said it kinda all blends together looking like it was made to be in sim city the base box edition. I do like sim city, but even that has a variety of custom content that can liven up a neighborhood to make it stand out more. Adding a bit more or changing a bit in the block choice for each. If not like someone above me said just do a paint job, like different wool colors. Possibly one for each building or a mixture of different materials to make at least the walls not look so monotone or similar to a "wringle in time" neighborhood in which everything is the same.
Just my thoughts, but over all it looks decent enough.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

This. ^
OP I recommend making your buildings less square. Add some angles and block patterns to the city. I'm sure you can find a tutorial on the net. As for the pixel art, I'm not really a fan of it but you obviously put some work into them. In all honesty, It's not the best city. Not by a long shot.
I hate pixel art in citys. It really drags away from the immersion. Some of your buildings look really un-realistic as well. Seems like you don't really have much of a theme you want to go with and just decided to trow colors into builds which I could not really care for. I commend you on the tim eit must have taken to build all this, however I a not going to say i'm a fan. Keep trying though, you don't get ultra creative overnight.

I completley agree. Also, he can't say his is biggest, he needs to have dimensions.
Mine is 100x100x25. Which is 250,000 blocks. Then there is a nether edition which is 75x75x35, so 196875 blocks, then there is another edition that is 50x50x25, so 62,500 blocks. Which is a grand total of 509,375 blocks in my city.

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

Nooooo! Wheres the creeper kitty?!?
To the Op: Yeah, I'm not gonna slam you, but I'm not a fan. Like others have said, It's too cramped and mismatched. Lol, and next time, try naming your post "My World", instead of " Best and Biggest". You will get flamed alot less

oh yeah and he also said biggest, his is actually small, compared to most ive been in
You post your city on a PUBLIC forum, claiming Biggest and Best and didn't expect to get eating alive? Biggest and Best = people are going to pick it apart detail by detail and actually tell you what they think. Take the advice of those above me they have some great tips and definitely find a better way to take screenshots
I've begun to realize that people who say "best city ever" tend to have really crappy cities.
^^^ Pretty much.
There was a guy awhile back who posted a MCXBLA city much bigger than any I've seen on the interwebz. Not sure on the dimensions, but it extended far past render distance. If I had to guess, I would say 500 x 500, not even kidding. Either way, anyone who thinks they have a large city needs to be humbled by this.

Right now im hoping to stretch mine to the current map limit which is like 1,000 something by 1,000 something. Give or take. Currently its at 952 by 518 Hopefully they crank up the map size and then I can make it even bigger! 500 by 500 is a pretty good size. It must have taken lots of work.

Errr... our XBLA version worlds are 864 x 864. The actual buildable/mineable area is 863 x 863.

Well you all thoroughly trampled him. I suppose that's why we haven't seen him post on here in a while? All I know is, if you're going to brag, have something to back you up. Also the title makes no sense. "The Best and Big city Ever: Megacity" WTF? I had to read it twice to get it.
Are you sure?! I counted block by block! Unless I made a mistake! All I know is it stretches from the top to the bottom of the map so far.
I'm pretty sure, except I meant to say it's actually 862 x 862, with the building area being 860 x 860. That's what it was when I last checked anyway, in 1.7.3, and I used the map so it had to be correct. I remember it went from 430 to -430, you can't reach the boundary of the outside meter, so that adds an extra 2 to both the X and Y axises... axis... axisi?
... Anyway... I think it would've been announced if the world size increased. Even if they didn't, someone would notice, start a thread, and this whole section would start freaking out. Three days later, everyone would complain that the world still isn't big enough.

The map may be 430 to -430, BUT REMEMBER to add 1 for the quadrant blocks! (IE (X:0, Z:23) or (X:-320, Z:0), so it's 861x861, then subtract 1 from each side [(861-2)x(861-2)] for the build limit on edges , so the real area to build is is 859x859... i do believe my math is correct, if not, it's an epic math fail (it's just subtraction after all).
on another note, i love how the OP hasn't been back here since his very rude post, but we have continued on for a 2nd page!!!
