Yes, it's not that big, but it took me awhile. I would like some feedback on it, don't be shy to say why you don't like it. The chests for storage are going to be along the interior walls.
are you just putting storage chests on the wall, if so its kinda not unoriginal ??
You mean it's unoriginal? Probably not just on the wall some kind of security system which leads to another room with chests. I am not that close to finishing.
It's kinda dark. For the pillars have you tried placing stairs at the bottom besides slabs?
The pictures appear wayyy darker than what they are. I play on 80% brightness if you're wondering. Also, I knew there was another way to make the pillars, when I was building them I felt as if there was a better way.

I'm not saying your pillars look bad, but was just asking if you've tried that also.
The walls are sorta plain on the inside, too "flat", you plan on leaving them like that, or were you looking to do something with that? (again not saying anything is bad)

Nonono, I Think they look bad, especially the ones outside. I was planning to do something with the walls which includes wood, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm open for ideas.
Or, y'know, maybe he thought that it was good as it is already?
Anyway, I'd say that you need some thingto break up the "all stone" look. And something to seperate the walls from the floor. But that is just my personal tastes.
Yeah I was going to add some gold and maybe golden "Bank" sign outside. Do you have any ideas to separate the walls from the floor?

Maybe arch ways? Make's it more open, and it breaks up the flattness.
putting a large amount of work into it doesnt make it 'unique'
also you asked for some criticism ? just saying it hasnt the 'woooow' factor atm like some other buildings ive seen, when your finished building and adding more in then i would like to see more pics
I'm sorry if I was a little rude, it was just hard to understand your first couple of posts. Yeah, I know what you mean, this isn't some kind of crazy megabuild.
Hey that's pretty cool! That must've been a pain carving all that out then hollowing it out on the inside, dealing with dirt and gravel, the replacing all the dirt and gravel spots with Stone.
Points of Critisim if I may
On the corners of the inside pillars, I think Glowstone on top of a fence post would look better then torches.
Perhaps a slight bit more of variation and design on the interior? That's being picky but through the middle in between the pillars, for example, have a straight line of regular cobblestone. Something like that always makes it a bit more interesting.
This ones a given and I'm sure your planning on it, A grand walkway leading up to it. Grand so it matches the epicness of the main exterior monument.
You said something about a security system earlier, I would quote it but for whatever reason I can't find it again :b
At least i think you did. Anyways, How would you go about doing so exactly? I've never really looked to far into making security systems with chests.

I like to create a border for the wall and floor with the same material, like this:
Then again, I'm not into the whole architectural pretty looking stuff. I just think it looks cool.
You definitely already have a better storage area than mine. The storage area for all of my maps tend to just be a hole in the ground, with a hallway. xD I do have one I think looks kinda neat though, but it's not super fancy or anything:
I thought you couldn't place anything above chests or they wouldn't open?
I love the design on the OP's outside. The inside, as has been said, could use some sprucing up. Perhaps a nice geometric pattern in the floor using sandstone, smooth stone, and cobble, that way you don't end up looking for a ton of wool or gold or iron to make different color blocks.
I think it looks pretty sweet. IMO, I would put the stone half slabs on the corners of the pillars too. Looks kind of funny to me with the gap at each corner but that is just me.
As for your chests, I would def put them in the wall and not up and down the aisle along the wall. That would make it look too cluddered.
Some pictures:
Thanks, any criticism? Anything other than a word word post?

Thanks for the feedback. I kinda thought it was unique with building style and the large amount of work put into it.

I see where you are going with this, but where would I place them? On the walls or connecting to each pillar?
Sorry, still kind of confused as where to build them. Could you use an example from a picture or maybe quickly make one on creative mode on pc?
I think I know what you mean, I'm going to try it later.

Hidden level which unlocks a secret room?
