I have found a fix! While we wait for 500 ISE to release the next beta, you can try out a test build of the fix from here (you may have to uninstall your version first):PocketInvEditor-snow-testbuild.apk
Wow, that's a cool fix!
I used it on the exact same inventory as before (before the duplicated slots were added), and this time it started by re-numbering all my slots, removing the gaps left by slots that were emptied in-game. It then added a new slot at the end with the correct ID number.
Nice work!
Now if only the game would stop resetting the inventory to 36 (or 55) slots on startup every time, and tossing out excess items...that would be tits.
Wow beta is epic thanks realy saves time getting items
Right now there is only one or 2 things missing
Is there anyway of being able to change a creative inventory
And make it able to change texture packs and skins
If you do both of those not only would i be really happy I would pay 2 quid for it
Ps yes i kknow there is pocket tool but i would rather have it all in one app
Sadly, the game hardcodes the creative inventory, and I can't edit it from the app.
No, I will not add the texture pack and skins features, as PocketTool is really good at those, and I believe in making an app that does one thing well, and not many things badly. Snowbound is slowly adding more inventory editing features into PocketTool, though.
Edit Inventory -> Push the "Menu" button on your phone -> choose "Add Empty Slot"

Merged; see above.
I did not know that; I will have to look into this.
That would be great! Thank you so much!
The translation is good, will edit it if I find an error. Hey, (and I am anticipating a question that would come pretty soon) Will you add language selection?

It's using Android's built-in localization support, so it uses the language of the Android user interface. (At least, it should.)
A new beta has been uploaded - this one contains a German translation by ChrisMCMine, German item translation based on the official Mojang translations, and a Simplified Chinese translation.

I've got good idea for a paid version...the ability to save inventory sets.
Once a user has his/her inventory set up, He/she could name & save an inventory set that can be restored at a later time, rather than having to manually refill slots one by one when things are depleted. Users could save multiple sets for quick material switching, given the limited inventory space, and lack of chests.
Whatever goes into the paid version, I'll happily buy it just to support your awesome work!

In bar at the bottamI cant push menu bitton as ai have honeycomb and it does not show
There should be a =. button at the top right of the screen; that would bring up the menu. It's intentional; Android 3.0 and later does not encourage the use of the menu button.
After reading through a nice tutorial, I've added searching through the item list, as promised.
Also included is the ability to view the current world time in ticks (1/20th of a second) as well as setting the spawn point to the player's current location.
Could someone create a new world, then copy the time value at sundown and sunrise on the first day, please? I've heard that Pocket Edition days are shorter, but I would like to know by how much.
I was testing the time changing, but it wouldn't save it.
the set spawn location does work
the search function does work, but if you click on the item you searched the item id stays/changed to 0.
I was spawned in the new world around 422, and it was becomming darker around 7340, and it became day around 13660 . hopefully that helped
I haven't implemented the time changing yet.
The value of the time is interesting - the standard Minecraft day length is 24000 ticks; it seems the pocket edition's shorter day is 1200014000 ticks.
I didn't test the search function; sorry about the problem; I will try and fix it.

I think the game's clock just runs too fast in general. Not only are days too short, but item drops don't stick around for the full 5 minutes like they should. They disappear after about 2 minutes.

I was wondering: are there any features that I could add to a "Pro" paid version of the app? If I do add them, would you buy the pro version?
The features, by the way, that I am considering to put in the pro version is player location, player health, spawn location, and time.
I dont know... PocketTool paid veesion doesnt have adicional features, but rather gives a preview of the changes...

1.1 confirmed. Thanks for the suggestion.

By the way, does it help if I include the QR code generated by GitHub? Does anyone actually use QR codes?

- Time actually saves
- Set time buttons
- fixed the search bug, I think
