Johan posted on twitter today that the next version of Minecraft Pocket Edition (0.5.0) Will be out at the end of this week or early next week. What are your thoughts on the next update? Tell me below!
Lol, most of you don't know the process of approving apps. You go do it, see how you like spending your day checking for pornography, copyright infringement and taking looking through all the files.

[sarcasm]That would be so fun![/sarcasm]
But seriously, there are so many apps and updates submitted for release each day. It doesn't take two seconds.

With google it takes 3-5 hours. Apple just doesn't understand they need to work with google and try their system.

And the weirdest part is that some apps such as Jailbreak (a 10$ fake jaibreak app) and Display Recorder (a 2$ display recorder without jailbreak) were approved but then removed after a couple of week. Then, what the heck does Apple's reviewing team?

They check for what I said above. Since there is nothing about them that breaks their conditions, it's fine. They aren't removed either, they're still there. And have you seen all the apps on the Play Store? Gosh, what the heck does the Google reviewing team do?
So you're telling me that it takes exactly 3-5 hours? How do you know they even check the app properly?

I don't know I think they only get pulled if reported enough...I've seen somd of those apps stay in the top sections for months it seems even with a pornographic icon, and the filter didn't work...was released on the 30th, apple takes about 2 weeks if my memory serves me correctly...they want to keep the platforms synchronized so even though Android is only a few minutes actually (might take a few hours to hit all the download mirrors) Android won't get an update until Apple hurries up with their $100 per app license process

Apple doesn't have a $100 per app license fee. That would be crazy.
To publish to the iOS app store, you need to buy an Apple developer's licence, which costs $100 per YEAR.
