The reason being that Mojang doesnt worry about pocket edition is because it doesn't make enough money. Its only $6.99 in U.S. currency and people buy illegal cracked versions. Less money means they dont give a damn if people want more. They have there reasons for having only one developer making Pocket Edition.
No. This topic is still at the top of the MCPE forums section. No need to make another topic.
I really admire your persistence and passion to make the pocket edition playable. But...one problem. When people (not necessarily you) tell other people to spam kapphische on twitter...it won't work. He doesn't have control over who works on it.

Kappische is a developer of MCPE, right? He and Aron are the only ones who work on MCPE, so I believe he has direct control over it
Also thank you xP
EDIT: Oh well, I believed Mojang as a whole must decide who they can hire, but with Kappische and Aron presenting a petition with a large amount of fans signing it, im sure Mojang will come to a good decision to hire a person good with C programming or move a developer of MC such as John Kastrom to work on MCPE.
And there is a good reason for continuing support for the pocket edition. I don't have a computer that is good enough to run Minecraft. I have the game on my iPhone and my iPad, PURCHASED. Now that I have played the pocket edition and have watched various youtube videos about Minecraft (both pocket edition and desktop), I am much more interested in the game and would be willing to dish out the $26.99 required for the desktop edition once I get a good enough computer. Until then, however, I will continue to play the pocket edition. I am sure that others will as well. Even once I get the desktop version, I will still play the pocket edition when I am away from the computer (which is most of the time). By creating the pocket edition, Mojang is opening up an entire audience of players that may never have even considered getting the game beforehand. I just hope that they realize the size of the market that they could control if they were to hire a new dev or two.

Not to be a *****, but Kaplan doesn't code the game. He has said that he is there to support Aron and Aron is the only one actively working on the game.

Don't worry your not being a *****. I already stated that Aron is the only coder in my OP. I didn't state Daniels position cause I wasn't exactly sure with his position. I guess he is the designer of the game
Keep in mind that Pocket edition was thought to play play on the go. Its just an app... But I am NOT against your petition though
Yes it was just an app. But Aron decided perhaps it could be something more, it would be amazing what we could do with Minecraft Survival in our pockets! There are tons of people who have wonderful devices (iOS and Android) that can run MCPE but not MC on their old PCs. I have a gaming pc that can run MC with full graphics, along with shadings and lightings mod.

Indeed, I would say MCPE would be the best on the market if they could dedicate more devs to it. Atleast 1 more coder and 1 more designer can create quite a team for an application so small Also, I play MCPE all the time when im away and I have quite a bit of fun exploring caves. I would say the work they did doesn't look rushed, it looks well done even with 1 coder and 1 designer. But the time updates comes takes way too long is the problem here.
Woot 50 people, but we need MOARRR people to vote up the poll!
Remember to use the poll. Its the most organized way to say who signed it. 54 people so far support MCPE to get more devs!Updated OP because it appears not all people who "signed" are actually clicking for support on the Poll and instead just say "signed"

lol Aron decided ****, he only put survival in cause that's what the customers wanted, it was his decision for it to be classic creative mode.

Yes, the customers wanted it, but who LITERALLY decided "Fine, I will go and code it because I will do it". We didn't force him to do it, he saw the fans feedback and decided to get survival on MCPE. Slowly but surely...too slow though, hes doing a great job but he needs moar Team and less i, because theres no i in Team (or Co-op) xP

Yeah I know, but you said he decided as in it was all his decision
I wish Mojang would care about Pocket edition like the PC or Xbox version. Shame you, Mojang!
Notch related it to soup, that means he would only care about it when he's sick, someone put something in his swedish morning drink or bagel or whatever they eat !!!
The best part about this topic is that 56 actually support the petition, but theres about 1500 views. I guess theres alot of people browsing anoumously without an MC forums account -.-
