Actually no Android as it is easier. So android updates are coming faster. So 10/2= 5 To each team. 5 people would be 4.5 weeks = 1 Month for one platform. You cant just instantly port it. Im sad to say but IOS isnt that great with MCPE.

Also Android apps are mostly written in Java, which would make porting even easier. Kaplan has stated several times that Aron is the only one that does any coding. This means there is only one person making both platforms... I don't understand Mojang...

I think it should be kept the way it is. Minecraft (PC/Mac version) needs a bigger team to work on it. Then consider that they have 0x10c, Scrolls, and Cobalt. Mojang has bigger fish to fry.
You are all seeing this wrong, If Mojang had lets say 3 coders instead of 1 then one coder can focus on something and the second on something else and the third on something else. The game would be updated to its fullest potential in no time. Sure it would take two months for each to finish, but i'm sure that they would save an extra 2 months seeing as they would take 6 months working on three projects together. Also lets not forget that Pocket Edition came first than Scrolls and all those other games, so it's not fair that we are put down on the "priority list".
Mojang is a business after all. People are paying $28 for Minecraft, $20 for 360 Edition, and only $7 for Pocket Edition. If I was running Mojang, I would focus more on the first two. Don't get me wrong, I love Pocket Edition. It is my go-to game when I'm not home, I just don't think people should be so impatient.

Sorry dude, but that wasn't algebra, it was a simple mathematical equation. XD
If you were intelligent enough to turn off such a stupid feature you wouldn't hate it.
