For the past two weeks, I've been stressing myself over the installation of DrZhark's Mo'Creatures when it came to Tekkit. I've looked online for tutorials, YouTube, forums and I've had no bit of success yet. What I'd like to ask of you is, can you help me? I really need to add this mod to Tekkit. If you have a solution or are able to help me, please, help me.
If I place Minecraft Forge into the minecraft.bin in the .techniclauncher/tekkit/bin folder and delete the META-INF file, the Technic Launcher reports that my Minecraft installation has been corrupted and that it was then "cleaned."
I notice that Minecraft Forge seems to already be recognized by my client because I see it in the bottom left corner of the Minecraft window upon startup. Maybe I really don't need to add Minecraft Forge? Or if I do to update it to a current version, where? And why does the adding of the Mo'Creatures and CustomModSpawner not seem to work when I follow the instructions obediently? Should I maybe be placing these things in the custom.bin in the .technic/tekkit/bin folder?
I run on 64-bit Windows with the most recent version of JRE, if it helps.
Firstly, You do not need to install forge. All of those mods come pre-installed with forge. In the case of tekkit, I don't think you're supposed to delete META-INF. Used to be the standard but i guess forge uses it now. Make sure you put them in the mods folder, see how that works out for you
Your biggest problem is you are running Tekkit, if run anything please run FTB because they don't steal mods But first off you would just drag the .zip Mo'creatures into the mods folder. It would help if you could check error messages for ID conflicts and don't delete META-INF
I feel like I haven't given you guys enough information which I'm sorry for. That was my fault. A lot of people are having trouble with this. So, starting from the beginning, I download the mods off of websites that Dr. Zhark himself directs me to in his download links. I like to play by the rules. After all of those things are downloaded, I follow his directions completely. Here is what those particular instructions are (well, the list of downloads needed in the forum topic of the latest version)
"Download the Mod:
Please make a backup of your minecraft.jar file and then: 1. install Forge (unzip the .zip file and add all of its contents to your minecraft.jar file) 2. install GUI Api (just copy the .jar file into the /coremods folder) 3. Delete the META-INF folder in the minecraft.jar file 4. locate your .minecraft/mods folder 5. copy the MoCreatures.zip and CustomSpawner.zip files inside your \.minecraft/mods folder 6. Play"
But, the problem I face is: When following those instructions without a single bit of absolute fault, nothing happens in the Tekkit client. If I put Minecraft forge into minecraft.bin in the .techniclauncher/tekkit/bin folder and *do not* delete the META-INF folder within the .jar, Tekkit will report that the program cannot be opened because of an error. If I do delete the META-INF folder within the .jar, Tekkit will claim that the .jar has then been corrupted. I would guess that the absence of core files in the META-INF folder would be the cause of this problem.
I have attempted to put minecraft forge in all other .jar files in the .techniclauncher/tekkit/bin folder with no success. I have reinstalled the Technic Launcher many times. That's all I have for you. If this problem is solved, other people can find this thread having the same problem and know what to do.

Whoa, whoa. If you have him PM you, the people who are also having troubles with this and desperately find a solution, perhaps like the one you promise, won't see it. I have this problem too, you know.
The reason this thread exists at all is a testament to how vile and corrupt the Minecraft modding scene is. In no other modding community will people deliberately sabotage their own mods to keep them from working with others, nor are the actual files buried under unnavigable tons of advertisements and false downloads that can install who knows what onto your computer.
If I want to enjoy Mo Creatures in addition to another mod, but I can't, it should be due to unintentional incompatible items, spawns, generation code, etc. Not because the creator wants to milk advertising money out of their fanbase and potentially cause problems with their computers. This lunacy wouldn't stand in any of the Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Civilization, Mount and Blade, Paradox, and certainly not the Dwarf Fortress communities.

In that case, nothing happens! No new mods are recognized when opening up Minecraft and I am unable to use the mod.
