Funny because I had a 1.5 gig server and it could only hold 8. Also the server providers when they recommend a specific player amount they are always wrong. They recommended 32 for me.....

They do inflate the number a little and those recommendations are usually with 0 plugins no additional content (aka Bukkit, plugins, mods, etc)
Its true that that would make the number lower but it was way less than what they recommended. Thats 24 players dropped from the max.
It is a common practice in business and actually in life to do that. They use the lowest possible settings to get the best results, then advertise it as such. It is quite common to see in business and in life.
Um.... what does it mean when i try to join it comes up communication error
and it comes up with a link
More than likely the login servers are stressed. Also, you should make a new topic for support questions, as we'd like this thread to only pertain to adding information.
hi there uhm so im running a mc server its running great every one can connect to my public ip no problom but my public ip keeps chance every 3 days any one nows why , http://thierry76.be/...-b-box-2-modem/ this is how my router interface looks like any any idea'rs plz
That's called a dynamic IP, you'll need to contact your ISP about getting a static one.
I've changed my run server .bat file script to:
@ECHO OFF
SET BINDIR=%~dp0
CD /D "%BINDIR%"
java -Xincgc -Xmx1G -server -jar craftbukkit.jar
PAUSE
However it still comes up with 'java is not recognized as an internal or external command' when i run it.
Have I done something wrong?
It means java wasn't set as an environment variable. Two do-able fixes for this really, but one of them is setting PATH in your environment variables, so I'll just give you the easier fix:
in your bat file, change "java" to a path to the java executable enclosed in quotes. Depending on whether or not you installed 64bit or 32 bit, it can be located in different places. But it's generally under "Program Files" in your main drive, then "Java", then "jre<version>" (could be 6 or 7), then "bin", then "java.exe".
All in all, the end result should look like this:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe

Spudmonkee left recently, I'll see if I can get the pics again.
