This is the error I get whenever a player logs in: http://pastebin.com/D07STx7n
I am running bukkit, the latest version (but I don't think that's related to the problem)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I saw a login verifier message in that error log, is the person joining not a premium/logged in player?
If so, in server.cfg change online-mode= to 0
Suggesting that someone set their server to offline mode is bad advice, especially without warning them of the dangers.
greenelf, more than likely the Mojang login servers were having issues at the time this appeared. Always look at http://help.mojang.com/ for the status of the servers if strangeness is happening. If everything is green on there, then something else is going on. If they are not, give it some time and it should clear up once the servers are back up.

Use pastie or pastebin for config files, I do not download them.

I shall remember that, thanks.
I'll just tell you the risks of turning it to offline mode now: Anyone can login as you and basically destroy your server, that's the main danger of offline-mode. There is also the possibility of hackers getting a better shot at you/your server, though i'm not sure if this is true.

That might have been it, it seems to be working now.
But I also got this error:
17:57:05 [WARNING] Could not get information about this CraftBukkit version; perhaps you are running a custom one?: UnknownHostException
17:57:05 [WARNING] Could not get latest artifact information: UnknownHostException
17:57:11 [INFO] [Metrics] metrics.essentials3.net
Adding on to this, I used a nice tool to determine the best DNS available to me. It's called NameBench. Now this IS a third-party tool so just remember, you use it at your own risk.

Today, do you know what that is?
