Ever since the pretty scary update first released, my Minecraft has continued to freeze. I log in and start up a new world but after about a minute or so it freezes completely. It doesn't go to black screen and no error messages pop up. One time I even had the music settings up and music still played. But the screen itself just freezes and i can't move my player or do anything. I have to activate task manager in order to close out of it. So far I have:
Force updated numerous times.
Closed out any other programs that might be taking away RAM when playing.
Re-installed Java numerous times to make sure I'm running on the right one.
Updated my graphics cards.
It's gotten so bad that I can't use SMP at all and I've been forced to stay in 1.3.2 since. It also sucks cause I've been attempting to make a custom map with other people and I can't make a server to do it in because they can access the new versions and I can't. Please help!
UPDATE (12/19/12): Today, with no warning or tinkering around with it, I am now able to use 1.4.5 client. I have yet to try multiplayer yet.
UPDATE (12/23/12): The game has begun crashing again the same way it has been. I'm beginning to think that I need either a better computer or the java i'm using is the wrong one, even though I've re installed it numerous times.
It sounds like your java is crashing.
Can you run the error logger from here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1383256-advanced-minecraft-error-test/
Post the results back in this thread.
Also are there any files called hs_err_pid####.txt (#### being 4 random number) showing up in the directory that you minecraft.exe is located? If so, post the contents of one of those as well.

Also I checked the bin folder in my .minecraft and there was no hs_err_pid file
That log doesn't show any errors.
And the hs_err_pid files wouldn't be in the bin, unless that is were you put your minecraft.exe file.
They'd most likely be on your desktop, or in the download folder, as those are the 2 most common places people keep their minecraft.exe
I'm sorry to be a bother about this but does anybody know what the problem with this could be? I wanna be able to use new features in the game... I'm sick of 1.3.2
I just ran a new error test for 1.4.6... After "Open AL initialized" it didn't do anything else like it did previously so I ended the test.

I just ran a new error test for 1.4.6... After "Open AL initialized" it didn't do anything else like it did previously so I ended the test.
What exactly did it do in the previous one? Do you mean all that texture stuff it listed? That texture list is unusual, however looking at it, it looks like you had Forge and an HD texture pack installed perhaps? When trying to troubleshoot it's best to test from a clean install to take any mods or side programs out of the equation. Your test logs looks good, minecraft seems to be running fine.
All that being said, when you say freezing in your OP, are you talking about your character and the screen sort of jittering around? If so look down and break the block underneath you. Its a spawning bug in 1.4.

No, as in like, the actual screen itself freezes. Like I'll move my mouse around and my character will not look around, and if I try to move my player at all nothing will happen. I can't look around or move around. The only comparison I can think of is if you're playing a first person shooter and lag occurs to the point where nothing you try will affect the character.
I'm hopeful that by typing this, somebody may verify/disprove my theory on this. I recently checked my system specs and it says my laptop is a 64 bit operating machine. However, I just checked the recent error report I did and it says:
Java location according to the path variable:
C:\Windows\System32\java.exe
can execute java? YES
java is 32 bit
java version "1.6.0_30"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_30-b12)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 20.5-b03, mixed mode, sharing)
Does this mean i'm using the wrong Java for my computer. It says java is 32 bit but my operating system is 64 bit. I'm asking so that I can fix the problem but also learn more about all this code and stuff. Hopefully somebody can help me understand this more? Thanks.
Yes, Java 32bit is incompatible with 64bit. You can install Java 64bit.
But from what I'm aware of, Google Chrome (which is my primary browser) is 32-bit. Is there a way I can have both Java bits and not have them interfere with one another?
I have checked to make sure that I am running the most recent Java (Version 7 Update 10 64-bit) and I just ran the error report again. Also I deleted my bin completely and force updated to make sure it's a completely clean slate. This time it reads that it cannot execute Java at all. Below is the error report:

Also some strange things to note. When I check my systems, it says that I'm running a 64-bit computer. However, in the error report, I believe it says that I'm running 32 bit. Below is a screen-cap.
Bump (I only continuously bump this topic because it seems that, at the moment, i'm the only person with such a strange problem. It may be a simple "my laptop is " answer, but I need a definitive answer plus it would help other people in case it happens to them as well.)
Perhaps you're running minecraft with some kind of compatibility setting enabled? That's the only explanation I know of for why the error test might report a different OS.
Also 32bit Java can run on a 64bit OS however programs like minecraft that have 64bit support will run much better with 64bit Java. Its okay to have both Java's installed, you would just want to make sure that minecraft is using the 64bit Java for the best experience.
All that aside, the fact that the error tester cannot find Java to launch it in your last report seems to be the most pressing issue to solve right now.
I recommend that you completely uninstall all java installs, then install Java 64bit and test again. If it still can't find it then something odd is definitely going on. Try doing a clean install including downloading a fresh copy of the launcher from minecraft.net instead of using your old launcher. If that still doesn't work, uninstall Java 64bit and get 32bit and test again. Do not install any mods or add-ons until you get a stable vanilla experience running. If still no joy then I'm starting to lean toward this being an OS issue of some sort because from your other reports there doesn't seem to be any issue with your video support which is the other common cause for issues.

Does this mean i'm using the wrong Java for my computer. It says java is 32 bit but my operating system is 64 bit. I'm asking so that I can fix the problem but also learn more about all this code and stuff. Hopefully somebody can help me understand this more? Thanks.
But from what I'm aware of, Google Chrome (which is my primary browser) is 32-bit. Is there a way I can have both Java bits and not have them interfere with one another?

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
I've done the first one so far and the error report still isn't reading a java. Here is the first error tester:
After doing this and no luck, I completely erased my launcher (saves and screenshots saved) and re-installed a completely new one. However, java still read unreadable. Below is the second error report:
This is the last one. Java is initialized now (which still confuses me but whatever) and it opened up like normal. The only thing left is to walk around and play around for a bit to see if anything changes. One more error tester:
