I was installing java 7 which some guy told me that yogbox only supported that version. So I did what he instructed. That didn't work so I tried reverting back only to be greeted by "Another version of java is already installed, would you like to reinstall it again?" over and over again. Please help me revert back.
are you using windows? if so open up the start menu go to control panel and at the top right of the window in the search bar type in java, an icon of java should pop up click on it then a small window with tabs at the top should pop up click java then view and finally user (if not already selected) this should display the list of java platforms, find 1.7 and uncheck it under the column enable and check 1.6 as demonstrated
I think you're getting the wrong idea. What I mean is that my java is broken entirely. Java can't run whatsoever, so please help. And no answers like re-installing your computer.

if you have more than 1 java installed and I belive you do you said you installed java 7 overtop of java6 they will be both enabled by default this is a conflicting issue and you need to go into control panel click java open runtime enviroments and untick one or the other.

What have you actually tried so far? brl1214's solution is the most efficient and thorough solution to this problem, so had you actually tried that Java should be working.

Again, this is serious.
Use something like Revo uninstaller or Tune-Up Utilities to uninstall Java 7, then install Java 6. On Linux you would have to use terminal commands.
