So, for some reason, I have a really awkward situation with Minecraft. Let me explain.
When I start up my computer, I have approximately 15 - 30 minutes to start up Minecraft, with fine FPS, and by fine I mean 90+, but here comes the problem that is EXTREMELY annoying.
If I don't decide to start it in the first, approximately, 25 minutes, when I start it up after the 25 minutes, the game loads fine, I log-in, I press 'Login' and then it says 'Mojang' for about 15 seconds. Normally it would say it for 2-3 seconds and load 90+ FPS, but when it shows the 'Mojang' sign for over 10 seconds it goes to the title screen, where it says Singleplayer, Multiplayer, etc. While at that screen, the FPS is literally less than 1 frame per second. It only does this for me when I don't start up Minecraft basically, right when I start up my PC, it doesn't allow me to play it, and I have to restart my PC in order to do so.
Any ideas, if so, PLEASE help me, dearly appreciated if so.

OMG that's happening to me right now it's literally taking like 20 minutes to load.
Sounds like something else is hogging your resources. So when you start up in time, Minecraft runs fine for how long?

Never heard of this, maybe try deleting/closing some programs while you play. If that doesn't help, I would suggest setting the priority of Minecraft on Task Manager to either "High" or "Realtime", you could also try allocating some more RAM to Minecraft.
I think Mein Kraft was right. When it is running first all the other background programs have to use the resources that minecraft isn't using. When minecraft is started after 20-25 minutes(When all the programs have time to start up) minecraft has to use the resources that the other programs aren't.
SOLUTION:Try deleting/eliminating resource- gobbling programs such as skype. I have skype set to not turn on with the computer.
If you hit F3 when it's lagging, can you make a screenshot and post it? Might help to see what's going on.
You don't get it, when I open Minecraft after the 25 or so minutes, it opens, and the menu is LESS THAN 1 FRAME PER SECOND which it takes approximately 5-10 minutes to actually CLICK on the Singeplayer, Options, Multiplayer, etc.
Saw your other post in the wrong section lol. That got nerfed quickly. ANYWAY.
Java: Uninstall it then download a new.
Services: Something seems to be hogging your system after a certain time frame. Check your settings for your services, some may be set to delayed start.
Task: Open up task manager and set minecrafts priority to either high or realtime.
Google how to do these things.
Finally.
Ram: Allocate more ram to minecraft when you launch it.
None of this works? IDK. lol. GL

The Allocated Memory trick, and the set to realtime, etc doesn't affect it.
What I'm saying is the game is PERFECTLY SMOOTH when it allows me to play, but when it doesn't it is less than 1 FRAME PER SECOND .. ONE FRAME. So they don't affect much, what they do effect is just the FPS when the game works.

Hm. I was hoping you'd have a solution by now, but by reading this thread, it seems most likely that something is hogging your resources. Judging by what information is available, you're running Windows, probably 7. After the timeframe is up, open task manager and click on Show processes from all users. End processes of everything you know is unnecessary (if you don't know or aren't sure, do a Google search beforehand). This should free up some memory for Minecraft.
You may also wish to run msconfig and manually set which programs and services are to start when booting up your computer, and check to make sure your antivirus or some other program isn't doing a scheduled scan. Please furnish us with your computer specs as well.
By the way, I've read that it's better to set javaw.exe's priority to high rather than realtime, and if the allocated memory trick isn't working, it's likely because there isn't enough memory to spare.

As long as I have it open within the time, it's fine until I close it and re-open it, then it is LESS than 1 fps. Unplayable by far.
Hope this helps! :smile.gif:
