Hello, all. I upgraded my graphics card today to a NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT, and updated it and everything. So, when I load up Minecraft, and I load up my world, the rendering is on Far, but it is still of Fast Graphics and Smooth Lighting being turned off from before, with my old graphics card. So, I wanted to change that. I press ESC, click on Options, I click on Video Settings, then the game goes to the brown dirt back ground screen (like at the main menu) and says "Saving Chunks" and then if you wait a couple more seconds, it goes to a black screen.
I also tried to change the settings from the main menu, but the result is the same.

Any help? Thanks
I already did that, because when I first loaded up minecraft, it said the drivers were out of date, so I HAD to update them to even get in the game.
try reinstalling java
Okay, just re-installed it, but the same problem is still occurring.
okay, that fixed it. What was the problem?
