I shall update the world as soon as I build. Let me know if you find any errors, etc in the world. Just read the signs at the start then go
This is the first cabin I made: The Hunter's Cabin. Here's an interior shot
The bedroom can only fit one person, but the cabin is ideal for a first house on Survival.
Here's the entire interior, as you can see it's still quite roomy. But don't let a loose flame catch it :Flint and Steel:
Bird's Eye view of the cabin [Note: Other buildings were completed the next day]
Next I worked on a poor family's house:
It would be harder to get materials than the Hunter's Cabin, but would be more resistant to flame +
Here's a view of the dinner table, designed for looks, rather than a tool. And the pistons look a treat!
Next is the bedroom that can sleep 2 Steves. The paper on the wall is a painting from the texture pack. Each bed has a chest at the foot of it.
Here is the small kitchen. I made it small because it's a poor house. The knives on the wall is just a painting from the texture pack.
This is where I'm up to in the village-The Woodsmith's Workshop! I'm a true woodsmith myself in reality, so I know what it would look like.
Here's a close up-
Next is the first interior shot of the hallway. The door on the right is the bedroom [No Screen Yet] for the woodsmith when he has to work late.
Here is the workstation, it's quite big.
Well, that's it for now. I will post more tomorrow. Cheers!
This is a nice build. The texture pack complements it well. As to time period, it certainly isn't contemporary modern. Otherwise it has something of a timeless quality to it. I can see it being a modern rustic retreat out in the boonies. Something a hunter or nature freak might stay in on vacation. Then again it fits the nineteenth century well too.

Thanks I've just started using John Smith again. It wasn't a village to begin with, but more of a small house for me.
New screens of the blacksmith [Cheers to xRILLIANx for the design] I slightly modified a few things like the roof etc. for a better and 'cleaner' look.
Here's the modified water trough using 2 Cauldrons
The entry arch. i featured xRILLIANx here, because I used his design.
Birds eye view of the yard. Behind the lava is 2 working furnaces.
Lucky last, the 'Smithy's House! More building going on tomorrow
The house design looks like it could have been from 1100 to 1900, so no real point saying it is Victorian especially with those strange roofs, which look very un-Victorian. Everyone remembers the Victorians for their beautiful mansions and historical revivals anyway. Perhaps you might study some Victorian buildings?
Nice work, I like the cozy houses and texture pack.
If this is Victorian, then you mean 19th century. (Queen Victoria reigned from 1837 to 1901.) Also, I would advise not using the Comic Sans typeface. Many people find it looks stupid.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
And for two and a half thousand years, the ring passed out of all knowledge... Rumor turned into myth... myth turned into legend, and legend gave rumor and myth amiss, and went straight into autumn. ...Wait, what?

I can't change the post name, so I think this looks more like the poineer days? Or medieval?

I don't know what to categorize it under. It was going to be Pioneer or Medieval. What do you think?

Actually, so long as you are or thread's originator you can indeed change the post name. Click edit as always. Under the normal edit window you have the option to Use Full Editor. Post names are easily changed in Full Edit mode. I've done so myself.

Texture Pack: 'John Smith' 32x32
Time Taken: 2 Hours
Still, looks great!
lol I was thinking the same thing. "uhhh my house didn't look like that."
Actually the 19th century was 1800-1900.... lol
We live in the 21st century right now
Thanks it's my specialty

Probably just some kid. Who cares?

I know I didn't know what to categorize it under. Pioneer, Medieval?
Working on another building today and thanks
Looks like a cross between medieval and something else. Or maybe it's just the texturepack making me think that...

Cheers I'll change it now

New category that I'll use it on: Past, Present, Future-Welcome To Essex
I've finished the past, now to start on the present!
Got a download link at the start if you want to look?
Put a Mediafire link at the top of the post. Just read the signs when you spawn and explore
It's medieval, Victorian is this:
Thanks. I changed the whole concept now, read at the top.
