omg i didant belive you at all but then i went to the seed and i saw it with my own eyes!!!
the seed is 6466718195438397548 pepole if all of you would just shut up for a minat and look at the first pic whare he shows the seed you will see it!!!!
it's true and soory that i didant belive thare for a minat
yeah I tell everyone and they're like nope, its fake.
Why do people doubt stuff like this? Get over it, a random seed like this is bound to happen to one of the 3 million players of minecraft. Also, what does someone gain by making a fake swastika?

If I helped you in any way at all please tell me how awesome I am, add me, or if you can't be stuffed don't do anything.

In fact it's more than a 3 million chance because that's how many nether worlds there are going to be, but there are hundreds of glowstone veins in the nether so you've got like a 900 million chance of someone finding it.

"technically infinite [odds]"
"900 million chance of it happening"
you guys should maybe read some stuff about probability, you sound pretty silly.
anyway, yeah, the chances of finding simple symbols made out of some material in the game are pretty high. a cross splayed out horizontally on land (not standing up)...there's probably a naturally occurring cross within 10km of spawn in 95% of seeds, probably more.
swastika's a little more complex, but sure, with the millions of people playing this game, exploring new places all the time, it was bound to be found somewhere. you don't have to limit the odds to Glowstone ore, this thread would have been created had someone found the swastika made out of stone or coal ore or anything really. odds are pretty high that someone would have found it.
as for people saying it's "the wrong way," the term Swastika in fact refers to both the clockwise and counter-clockwise shapes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika

Saying technically infinite would be true, if I was to include all seed and all chunks.
Roughly the maximum map size as of 1.7.3 is 32,000,000 x 32,000,000 or 1,024,000,000,000,000 / 256 (for the chunk size of 16x16) = 4,000,000,000,000 x 128 (map height) = 512,000,000,000,000 x 3 (Nether, Main world, and The End) = 1,536,000,000,000,000 x (5.26 x 10^66) (Max number of seeds) = 8.07936 x 10^81 would be the max amount of randomness you can have in minecraft so the odds that a swastika would exist is almost guaranteed at this number, maybe not at that seed, chunk, and nether.
no, there's no "infinite", infinity isn't a number, nor does it refer to anything about the probability of something. if you're saying it's 100% likely, then there are a number of ways to say that, none of which involve the word "infinite"
probabilities are most frequently given as a ratio (a percentage is actually a kind of ratio, x% is the same as saying x/100). A ratio of 1 is the highest possible probability of something happening. 1 is the highest, not "infinity"
The probability of the occurrence of an event can be expressed as a fraction or a decimal from 0 to 1. Events that are unlikely will have a probability near 0, and events that are likely to happen have probabilities near 1.*
You already posted the seed in your first screenie when you had F3 on.
Not that I've got time to check it.
I think this goes under the heading of "Accidental signs and sigils in a block world" along with all the crosses, letters, and other ominous sigils randomly created by square blocks being next to each other.
as for people saying it's "the wrong way," the term Swastika in fact refers to both the clockwise and counter-clockwise shapes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika
Yes, but, while Nazis used the clockwise one, the counter-clockwise is more used in Budism, Hinduism and others, as a symbol of perfection. I'm sure it wouldn't be needed a thread about it if it wasn't the clockwise Swastika.
yeah I tell everyone and they're like nope, its fake.
There is no backwards, it can be a Swastika or a Buddhist symbol.
Thanks for conforming, people these days can't believe random generation.

Haha exacly.

Yeah but people don't search for it.
People do explore the nether though. And they do look at glowstone.

People do, but they mine the glowstone without really looking, and people don't go to the nether much because it has nothing to it (besides in 1.9)
This is real, confirmed, i just test it
he has F3 enabled! so the seed is:

XD
if you look derp, he edited the post much later
and
JAINISM FTW!!!
technically infinite, just like any other formation you may find though it may not be as obvious as this
"900 million chance of it happening"
