Month is a very long time for something like that, unless it was like one minute per day.
TNT to adjust it a bit, and anyone walking out of the higher doors will suffer a horrible unfortunate bone breaking fall.
how do you use tnt? lol why not just an iron pick?
I'm assuming you're using INVedit, Single Player Commands or Too Many Items, judging by the glowstone, but I don't care. For a first house, it's pretty damn good.
first of all, he said hes playin on a mac, which is a completly stupid idea in the first place. he wuldnt downoad any mods to help him build.
cobblestone is a rather unattractive block for a house, at least with the default texture pack. I like using wood half blocks, since they aren't flammable, and using cobblestone for the trim.
I like the interior though, the glass view up the center is pretty cool.
not bad for a first house.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Actually looks pretty cool now. Try to use Wooden planks or Bricks just to spice it up a little bit. Also, next time, don't build the house on sand. It just doesen't look right.
Looks awesome for a first house project.

AS you advance in your minecraft hours, (I'm over 9000) you'll get a lot better. My first "house" was a 5x5 cave, my second was a hollowed out mountain side with a couple more rooms, then it was a giant mansion, then it was an EthosLab spin-off, now, I'm in the process of re-creating docm77's perimeter. Trust me, skill increases with time my fellow minecrafter.
Keep up the good work.
