624 bookcases minus the ones already there. Remember...100% Legit
Each bookshelf takes 3 books, each book takes 3 paper, each paper takes one reed (3 reeds make 3 paper). You need 5616 reeds. That's 87 3/4 stacks. Each plant can grow 3 harvestable reeds, so that's 1872 plant-harvests* needed. Assuming a 16x16 farm (a relatively easy task), that's a bit more than 7 full harvests. If you're working on other parts of your map while harvesting, you won't even notice the time.
*Plant-harvests is a unit simply used to find the total number of reeds, while allowing for a variable number of plants and harvests. For example, 1872 plants all harvested once have the same plant-harvest value as 1 plant harvests 1872 times (1872*1 = 1*1872).

This is the farm I'm using, right next to my wheat farm.
Raw materials for one book shelf is 1.5 logs and 9 reeds. I'm more worried about the logs at the moment.

There is no download as the project is not complete.
In other news!
I was playing some ghast tennis and died, dropped my best map, respawned in the middle of nowhere at nighttime, ran around randomly, found a zombie spawner under some sand. Day came, found a base, took the Nether portal, and got my stuff back. Then I played some more tennis.

Hello? Eat my tarts? In this cosmic dance of bursting decadence, withheld permissions twist all our arms collectively. But if sweetness can win- and it can- then I'll still be here tomorrow to high five you yesterday my friend. Peace.
You know the sport of Nether Tennis? Where you try to kill ghasts with their own fireballs?
Well...I was playing that and I died. I don't die very often. Well...after the Bed update my spawn got moved to the middle of nowhere. I must have last slept in a temporary bed because that was where I respawned when the ghast killed me. The only really valuable thing I lost from the death was my best map of my castle and surrounding area.
So I'm in the middle of nowhere, no items, and it's not even Midnight yet. I knew there was a base close by so I went looking for it. I didn't find it but I did find a zombie spawner under some sand. I killed a spider and then morning came. I found out that I had overshot the base I was looking for, found it, and took the portal inside it to the Nether. I got my stuff back. The end.

Lol. Never noticed that...
Well...I made two secret passages in my house. My first is a little meh but my second one is sheer awesomeness. Will post pictures when I can.
Haven't been on in a while because I was camping for a week :sad.gif:

Whatever it is now, with the occasional glowstone to add light. And maybe an open roof or glass cap.
No. Less is more.

This is the Library at the moment. It needs some lighting and outer walls still. The monsters don't spawn because the floor is composed of halfsteps.
