Alright. Right now I'm in the middle of loot placement. I'm leaving from now (4:15 where I am) until about 6 or 6:15. The custom mobs have already been made, so when I get back I just need to finish placing the loot, place the spawners, and test.
I'm very pleased with the map I've made overall. The areas are pretty large and have a good amount of playtime; in fact, they could probably pass for I2 (maybe 3) areas in a full-size CTM. I don't know the total playtime for sure until I test it, but if I had to guess I'd say it's probably at least an hour and a half.
@Fangride: If you don't finish on time please tell me you'll still release it late! That gameplay concept of having no health sounds like it's really fun to play. I don't want to see anyone on this thread throw in the towel completely just because they're only at 9/10 completion or so when time's up.
Drago, when will you post the maps on OP? I hope to see them up there by Monday, I'm going to begin rating maps as soon as I can, I have a project for school to get done, but I'll try to get it done today.

Sandstorm
Style: Linear Length: 3 monument items Required Minecraft version: 1.7.4
Even though I didn't make everything I wanted with this map, I'm pretty happy with it. I went for a desert/canyon style for aesthetics (although I "cheated" a little bit in the middle of the map), which was a fun challenge as it is besides a critical time pressure. I would have liked to balance the map with the natural mob spawning, but running out of time prevented me from doing that.
Now, without going into a pointless rambling, the download link and the screenshots:

Well, I had a lot of problems when making this map ahem (minecraft is really buggy and annoying) but after hours of repair and work it is finally complete besides a whole bunch of things I wanted to add like a story but after working and fixing this map for what must have been 10 hours strait I can't bear to place another block anyways, enjoy
Ok, so the map is finished, and I would release it right now, but I have no access to my computer, so I can't upload it or post a screenshot. I may be able to do so today, or I may have to release it tomorrow first thing in the morning. Would I still be in the competition?

Ok, now I'm happy I had time to do multiple balancing runs. TBH, I'm fairly amazed I balanced a spawner that ignores light values.

I noticed it! It looks really good, but I'm refraining from playing any of the entries until my own is released.
