Basically you should post a declaration to start sometime past Saturday 12:01 am EST and post that you have finished with your download link sometime before Monday 12:01 am EST. Also you are encouraged to film, while not everyone can do this for technical reasons it does help to verify that you actually built it in the 48 hours.
I guess I will have to clarify:
There will be a theme. The theme was decided to early this time around but in the future it will be announced at maximum a day before the event. The idea of this is to make it harder to plan for your CTM as this really is supposed to happen in 48 hours. Basic schematics may be used: fleecy box, monument, starting signs, "trademark" weapons (ex: zisteaunian battlesign), basic spawners (ex: fast zombies, punch skellies) etc. You should not use any other schematics or previous builds. Basically think of it this way: anything that you use interchangeably from map to map, your kind of "tool kit" of basic props, is allowed but unique designs, areas etc. cannot be prebuilt and they can't be used in the jam.
I would say try and plan ahead and not upload it to last second. Currently this isn't uber serious, no one is going to eat you if you post it a little late and say you had bad internet connection. The Jam right now is mostly people who are regulars on the forum and I trust them to not to cheat and try to "beat the system", all I ask is that people do there utmost to keep to the rules. Again though: take your limitations into account try not upload at the last minute if you think your internet can't handle it. Also filming does give more credibility to your claims. Especially if you live stream it.

Thats an interesting question I hadn't thought about collabs... maybe you should be doing double wool if you have double the people? I'd have to think about it...
Edit: Currently I've decided that you should do double wool for double people (see rules)

About The Skype Call:
I have been getting questions about this so let me make it clear: I can not (for technical reasons) host an after jam skype call. I am more than happy to review your maps and take part in discussion on this thread but Skype is not feasible. This means that one of you must step forward to host the call. Just post your name and skype ID and say that you wish to host the call and what time it will be (and the time that it will end) and I will then post your name and skype ID under the credits section and that will be the official after jam skype session. Thanks and I hope to see you there (and that one of you will volunteer to host the call ;))

I clearly haven't been very clear about this because I have been getting quite a few questions on this subject
but I guess I need to refrase that... essentially what this is trying to say is that while you should do your utmost to keep with rules in the end it's better that you participate some than not at all. Just note where you bent/broke the rules in your final post (the one with the download link) and it should be okay

Yes. No starting on building until 12:01 (or whatever time your on (I hate time zones they make my brains all confused (and daylight savings time)) though... I will post a "go" post whenever people can begin
