This is not an official review, just a way for me to give an alternate view of the map.
Now I know I'm gonna be aggravating a lot of people here, especially when I reference Extra Credits, but remember that everyone can have their own opinion, and not every one is yours.
Anyways, I feel the map was amazing in many ways, but I'm tired of seeing reviews totally overlook its flaws. Therefore, I'm gonna highlight them. First off, while I can see how some people like all the different areas, it felt too much like minigames to me, Extra Credits recently covered how games can have to much difference in them, and I believe this map shares the same problem. While most of the map is made up of normal gameplay, some of it, such as Nightmare and The Hunting Grounds, were a little too break away from the game for me. Then again, CTM maps often get boring for me quickly, and this map did hold my attention till the end.
The start area (I forgot what it's called) is an amazing area, I feel it's very balanced, if not a tad difficult. I enjoyed the idea of collecting items, and I also feel like it was rather perfectly done, but I also think that this was one of the only well done variation areas in the map. The Hunting Grounds was just annoying, Ninja was fun but it took me eons to find the wool because of my "jump over everything" strategy, and Nightmare was a nightmare. Fear of the Dark is one of my least favorite areas from a CTM map, purely because of the overpowered mobs.
I got to go now, school awaits, but overall I think that Ragecraft 2 was an expertly crafted map with a few flaws. This is one of them.

Putting my 2 cents in the mix, I hated playing Hunting Grounds, but I like the concept. I like when a map maker puts something new instead of the big cavern with buildings or whatever. The end part with that huge forest was a tad annoying however. I thought Ragecraft 2 was incredibly difficult, but fun.
Dreadsky Depths is now officially back in active production!
I've been working for the past hour on getting my mapmaking suite downloaded and set up on my new computer, and now it's all ready to go! I put off working on DsD until I had the horsepower necessary to load some of the areas, so for now I'll be switching to it and putting Dreadsky Falls on the back burner. I'll work on DsF occasionally, but DsD will be my main focus.
(This also doesn't mean I'll be constantly working on DsD, or that you can expect it next week. I'm having tons of fun with other games, so I'll be balancing time between them and this.)
Hey guys, having some really weird problems with Minecraft - every profile I have - even the unmodded game crashes every time I try to open it. The crashlogs have no information for me at all, and I can't, for the life of me, work out what's going on o_O

Could be a glitch with the launcher you're using. if you're using magiclauncher try using the normal launcher
I enjoyed it... some areas were kind of tedious, but it had a great feeling to it, kind of like the newer version of legendary, some areas were annoying, but it had great ones too.
55 Deaths *cough* noob *cough* , Anyways I had like 18 deaths in the first section of Corrupted Path so I don't really have that much to say.
yeah, way too many deaths for me to be happy with, although to be fair to my self though the open beta version was slightly more difficult than the full release.
So, this is probably a stupid question by non the less, I'll ask it.
How do you use NBTeditor? I know what it does and stuff, but I can't find out how to use it. I know about the level.dat stuff etc. But looking that up doesn't give me any good "answers"
Hey guys! I'm currently having trouble running CraftBukkit 1.6.4 for Voxelsniper and I was wondering if someone could give me step-by-step instructions on how to run Craftbukkit. Thank you for your trouble!

Downgrade to 1.6.4, use in-game NBT editor. Just do /nbtedit on random stuff, and experiment a bit. You'll pick up on it, and figure out what different things mean.

Mac or windows? I run one on my computer for mapmaking, so what exactly is happening? Also, voxelsniper just updated to 1.7.2, so that's a thing.

I've clicked the jar and gotten all the files pop up, and I also need the download for the 1.7 voxelsniper.

Never bothered to download MagicLauncher after my computer was fixed. I'm seeing lots of people with the same issue over in the Support forums too
