I just wanted to ask for building advice since I knew you people know how to build stuff while I suck at it. I don't see mcuh problem in it. if I bothers people I apologies. but I thought this was just a CTM community thread. for general CTM stuff.
Ugh, I totally picked up the JohnSmith texturepack, so much nostalgia, I know you all dislike texturepacks though... Despite that, expect to see -ugly- texturepack screenshots in the future~ Out of all the texturepack this one takes the cake for the perfect atmosphere!
Texture packs often ruin the practicability of things, such as I saw a texture pack that had a skull on the side of trapped chest and no difference on the front. It was annoying I had to mess with a whole tons of things and in the end I just replaced that texture with the default. In the same texture pack I found a spot in a map where it made a secret stand out so hard because it had been hidden behind gravel (witch in default is almost the same as stone at a distance) I looked at it in default and I would of never seen it if not for my texture pack.
Well I remember not liking this tread but someone on vechs thread mentioned that the people here were awesome so I came back it see if I was wrong. Also I don't want to completely quit all threads but I feel there is no reason to be on vechs thread any more seeing as he is not currently even making maps. Also I like the Volcano I agree with what they are saying The walls could be changed but if you do that mobs could possibly spawn there so you might want to light up there if you do change it.
And can someone here give me some tips on how to make the outside of my tower better it is made out of stone bricks and I got unlimited glowstone.
the tower will go strait into the ceiling that is why the random 1 by 1 pillar is on top.
I'd like to see a picture with /light off. It's hard to judge how an area looks when it's under different conditions than what the player will see.
I've been recently planning the second installment to my 'Mini Adventures' series in my thread. I'm doing this to make up for the inactivity on my thread that has been going for quite some time now (Though I'm still working on Legends of Argonia), so here's something to get you excited. The basic plans I've got so far are:
- Siege, a difficult 3 wool CTM
- Choose a class to play as!
- This gives you a starting kit and then you are free to do as you please!
- I'm planning straight on action from the start, but resource gathering (such as potion materials, wood etc) is mixed in also.
I've showcased one of the 4 classes available below though poorly made, the Ember Knight!

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)

LOL but how good is your computer. If you are planning on releasing it to the public if your computer is alright you might want to dull it down a little for the slower computers.

can't you do negative damage instead of unbreaking 127, looks better, jus add lore text saying, this never breaks

What I did do was add more vines, added 2 structures, did the wall combo that was suggested, added some clay clumps, added glowstone lamps around the path, and also some more grass while removing the flowers. You should change the thing to a PVPer stuck in a mapmaker's body now because I see you on project ares 24/7
Easiest way to get over that is to remember that Draco is a shortened form of Draco_Rogue, whilst I'm just Drago which is a shortened form of dragonsrule9, is it not?.

For some reason I tend to remember people by their picture, as it's the thing that pops out at me the most, so you're fine.
Also, I've actually decided to change my upcoming map name from Scorched Ruins to Shattered Kingdom. I feel it's a stronger and more descriptive name.
