My name is Helioxis and I enjoy making minecraft maps. I will post them here periodically. Since this is my first post please tell me if I am doing something wrong.
I am working on a new map series called "The Chronicles of Steve". It is similar to Vechs' Super Hostile map series (here), but I have introduced a story line to go along with it.
The Chronicles of Steve Maps:
1. Greendeath Kingdom
-Current Version: Open Beta4
-Linear Branching
-Underground (Mostly)
-CTM
-Difficulty: Medium-Very Hard
Notes: I am almost finished with this map, it is open beta. All of the wools are in the map, but some areas aren't finished. The map takes place in a ruined kingdom that sunk into the ground and created huge caverns.

2. Dark Forest
-Open World
-Underground (Just the beginning)
-CTM
-Difficulty: Medium
Notes: This is what I have planned. In Brian Jacques' Redwall book series, the animals mention a dark forest that they go to when they die. I am using that as a base idea for this map. Think of a dark, fire and lava-less forest hell.

3. (I dont have a name yet)
-Open World
-Above Ground
-CTM
-Difficulty: Easy-Medium
Notes: This is what I have planned. I'll take a regular minercraft world and plop dungeons in here and there.
I'm open for ideas.
4. (I dont have a name yet)
-Open World/Linear Branching.
-Above Ground
-CTM
-Difficulty: ?
Notes: I dont have a lot planned for this map. It will probobaly be a apocalypse city/kingdom. I m open for ideas here to.
General Map Rules:
1. Survive in any way you can think of.
2. Find and complete the Fleece-Monument. (My name for the victory monument.)
3.Find all 16 wools and 4 ore blocks scattered around the map.
4, You CANNOT use dyes for to make wool for the Fleece-Monument. (But you can make beds.)
5. Use at least easy never peacefull.
6. You CANNOT craft the metal blocks for the Fleece-Monument. (This is the one difference from Super hostile rules.)
7. Dont leave the boundires of an area. (Some areas arent surrounded by bedrock.)
8. I dont hate you, dont die in a raging fire. Have fun.
Other maps:
PVP Arenas- These are the first ever maps I made. They ,might have some problems because they are abandoned ideas.
PVP Arena 1-Perfect Island
-This is a beautiful forest island with a small arena in the center. In the download I've included the rules.
Download: http://adf.ly/Iw9ZA
PVP Arena 2-Jungle ruins
-This is a ruins, on a floating island, in a giant sinkhole, in a jungle, in a circular world. I never finished this map because of a redstone glitch I never figured out. The decor is there but little to none redstone. I am going to make two downloads for this so I can have a save of the map before a made it onto a ruins. So one is going to look nice and vine-less, while the other is going to be a ruin.
Ruins-Download: http://adf.ly/HKquo
Before ruins-Download: http://adf.ly/HKqx1
Adventure Maps:
Storm the Igloo-This was my christmas 2012 map that I didnt finish in time due to computer problems. Here it is finished. Please tell me if all you get are regular mobs, I used wide range custom mob spawners. If you get regular mobs, then the spawners arent working.

Crazy/Test Maps
Lava Test-This is a test I did with lava fountains. (Though I got the idea from Amlup's Unchartered Territory 2 map, here)
Download: http://adf.ly/H2nNW
Death-This map was made by a request from ChickenDudeFan. Its a long bridge made out of custom charged creeper spawners. Have Fun.

Bugs:
This is a place where I report bugs I find and to confirm that other people are having them so I'm not going crazy.
Legal Stuff:
-All of the works featured on this page are mine, (Unless I say a got the idea from somewhere).
-Nobody has permission to say they made them.
-Do not copy my work and claim it as your own.
-If you fill the need to do something along those lines. Give me full credit unless you have special permission from me.
-If you want to do a review or LP of any of my maps, put a link to this page in the description. Not a direct download.
Started playing the first map. From what I've played so far, it seems really good.
Progress:
I managed to clear all of the coal and wooden logs out of the starting area/mine, as well as getting 4 white wool (1 for monument, 3 for bed) and both of the chapters. I set my spawn at IS1, so hopefully, I'll never have to go back to the starting area. I also found the generous loot under the intersection, and I took what I wanted. I haven't started on any of the other areas yet, but I took small glimpses of all of them. I'll probably do the Dark Factory, then the green castle, then the big open water area.
Playing on Easy difficulty.
Current Monument Blocks: 1/20
Current Chapters: 2/20 (There are 20, right?)
Current Deaths: 0

Thanks, There are 20 chapters. After I've finished the map, I'll write them.
How is the difficulty so far?

How is the difficulty so far?
It's pretty challenging, but not unfair. So it's good.
Just found Intersection 2.
Current Monument Blocks: 5/20
Current Chapters: 3/20 (I know the location of another)
Current Deaths: 3
Death Report:
1 from falling off the spiral staircase leading to Greendeath Castle.
1 from falling into the creeper pit by the jump potion spawner in the Dark Lab. The creepers didn't kill me; I ended up dying from fall damage while trying to escape.
1 from falling in the Bedrock Spires.
So yeah. All 3 deaths so far have been from fall damage, and I have successfully recovered my gear each time.

Thanks for telling me your progress. Do you think I should put feather boots in dark factory?
Current Monument Blocks: 5/20 (Trying to find light blue wool before moving to IS2.)
Current Chapters: 4/20
Current Deaths: 3
I'm thinking that the light blue wool is in the
Forest of Chaoz,
but I can't find anything. Can you at least tell me which area it's in?
It is in forest of chaoz. When you first come out of the cave, go to the back left. Dig down. Should put you on top of the wool. If not, run around and listen for skeletons.
Were the trees fun?

And yes, the trees were fun. Got lots of logs and glowstone.
Edit: Found it without having to dig. IMO you should make the location a little more obvious.
I have moved everything useful from my Intersection 1 base to Intersection 2.
I have mined out all of the coal and logs in the start area and all of the coal and iron in the Forest of Chaoz and Intersection 2.
I have collected the loot at the bottom of Intersection 2, as well as the TNT box.
I have gone back to Castle Greendeath and the bottom of Intersection 1 and gotten all of the random loot that is useful to me.
I have taken all of the logs from Intersection 1 and moved my spawn to Intersection 2.
I have said goodbye to Intersection 1.
I am ready.
